Advantages: Mild, no tears formula, lovely smell

I first had Johnsons Baby Shampoo as it came as part of the £19.99 Johnsons Baby Bath Box from Asda, however after trying it I ended up stocking up on it. I found a 500ml bottle for £1 in the £1 shop which was a fantastic bargain (so of course I bought a few at once).

It comes in a transparent bottle with a yellow top, but the shampoo itself is bright yellow in colour so the bottle actually appears to be yellow until you start using the shampoo.

I used this literally from birth as my son was born with a full head of thick dark hair. It has a lovely smell and the yellow colour is very distinctive - there is no chance of not finding it in the baby aisle! It is promoted as a 'no more tears' formula and I can say quite honestly we have never had any tears when it has gone into my son's hair as I rinse it off (which happens almost daily!). It is obviously very mild because he doesn't bat an eyelid and reacts no differently to when he just gets plain water in his face and eyes. It leaves his hair smelling gorgeous, it has a real old-fashioned baby smell and that is one of the reasons I rate it so highly. I have never tried any other brands of baby shampoo and don't intend to - I am confident it couldn't be beaten!

Summary: I would recommend this to anyone, baby's hair will be soft and shiny and smelling gorgeous!
