Advantages: Leaves baby's hair foft, silky and smelling lovely

Disadvantages: None

Before I had my first baby I did the usual first time mum to be thing of stocking up on lots of baby products, even though I had no idea what product would be best I just bought lots of everything. I think I ended up with about six containers of baby talc and I never used it once on any of my children. One of the products I did buy and have used ever since is Johnson's baby shampoo. Johnson's is a market leader when it comes to baby products and is a very reputable brand, so wanting the best for my new baby this is what I bought.

All of my three babies were born with lots of hair so I got to use the shampoo right from the start. It claims to be 'our best ever shampoo to leave your baby's hair softer than ever before.' It really does leave baby's hair so soft and silky. It also smells really nice and when they've had their hair washed with this they have that lovely 'baby' smell.

The last bottle I bought was from Bodycare and cost just 99p, I think it can be a little more expensive from some other shops. It is supposed to be a 200ml bottle but contains 50% extra free. 300ml for just 99p I think is very reasonable. A bottle this size will last me ages, even with three kids, you only need to use a small amount and it gets very foamy.

It also has it's famous 'no more tears' formulation and is as mild as water to the eyes, this is also an advantage as shampoo can often get in a babies eyes.

This shampoo can also be used by adults, I have washed my hair with it on a couple of occassions when I have picked it up by accident and not realised till it was on my head that it was the wrong shampoo. It too left my hair feeling soft and did a good job of cleaning my hair.
'Best for baby - Best for you'

The only problem I have had with my boys' hair/head is that all of them have developed cradle cap at some point, I don't know if this is a result of the shampoo but the shampoo never cleared it up. I used Johnson's baby oil instead and that worked a treat.

I always buy Johnson's Baby Shampoo for my little ones hair, to be honest I don't even know how many alternative products there are out there, I can't say I've noticed any. Johnson's does a fine job and I have found a product I want to stick with.

Summary: A shampoo for everyone
