The shampoo is very easy to use; just like other shampoos in fact. Simply wet you hair, and depending on the length and thickness of your hair, add a suitable dollop and start lathering. I have shoulder length hair which is fairly thick and find that a 50p sized blob of shampoo works best for me. Leave for a couple of minutes and then rinse out.
I love this shampoo; I find that it creates a really rich lather. My hair likes to do it's own thing and so I find it hard to control at the best of times. However, after using this shampoo I find that my hair is much more manageable. Plus the fact that shampoo leaves my hair feeling lovely and soft and shiny.
This shampoo smells gorgeous. It's very fruity and citrusy and I love how it leaves me hair smelling lovely and clean and fresh. I find that the longer I leave the shampoo on (say 5 minutes rather than 2 minutes), my hair smells even stronger. I love having a sniff of my hair after using this shampoo.
I would recommend this shampoo.
Thanks for reading!
If someone had told me that a new shampoo by Katie Price aka Jordan was the best thing ever to grace their hair I would have looked at them stupid.
This in fact did happen recently when my friend of many years said she had bought said item and matching conditioner and it had left her hair feeling fantastic.
After getting over giving her the 'stupid' look I asked seriously if it was really that good, which she replied with 'Try it'..which indeed I did, and that leads me to why I am writing this review.
I don't know how much my friend paid for hers but when I saw this on offer at my local Morrison's store (and later at Netto and Superdrug) at the reasonable sum of £1.49 I decided to indeed give it a go.
The shampoo comes housed in a cylindrical shaped bottle, which to be honest is very pretty despite my initial reservations.
I'm really not a fan of Katie/Jordan and didn't ever envisage myself buying any of her endorsed products, but the fact is the bottle alone would be enough for me to buy this (shallow I know).
The colouring of the bottle is all pink - a pastel pink base with heart type flowers at the base and silver lettering of the logo near the top.
The shampoo is easily accessible through the press down lid which opens and closes with ease.
I thought this shampoo would be *okay* so wasn't really expecting much..but boy was I wrong!
After squeezing a small 10p sized blob into the palm of my hand and applying to dampened hair, I started to massage into my scalp.
The shampoo itself is transparent, whilst the consistency is neither thick nor thin and has a gel like feel to it. On application the shampoo lathered up incredibly, leaving a barrage of soft scented bubbles on my hair.
The scent itself is just intoxicating - well it is if you are a fan of citrus fruits; there is grapefruit, lemons, limes and oranges in here and boy can you tell.
It's not an overpowering scent though like with some shampoos; more of a soft, subtle citrus aroma that lingers delicately on the hair.
After rinsing my hair felt super soft and I did use the coordinating conditioner to enhance the combination (separate review to follow).
The shampoo is unexpectedly lovely!
It cleaned my hair perfectly leaving it feeling soft before the conditioner was even applied. The scent as mentioned was delicate, yet prominent and lingered on my hair for several hours and the shampoo left it feeling incredibly soft, yet manageable and easy to style.
I would never have tried this if not on the recommendation of my friend but I'm so glad I did!
The regular price of £1.49 for a 250ml bottle seems nothing for a shampoo of this calibre. I don't know who is responsible for the actual making of this (says Jigsaw on the back of the bottle? Not sure if that's the same as the store or not though) but Katie/Jordan is onto a winner having her name against this as I will definitely buy this again in the future without a doubt.
