As I have naturally curly/wavy hair, I am always in search for the best curl products on the market. I am usually quite sceptical about buying certain curl hair care items because they often never live up to my expectations. However, the Kerastase Nutritive Oleo-Curl Definition cream exceeded my expectations.
I first used this product in Turkey, so my hair was quite unruly and dry due to the heat. As I was attending a wedding I needed a good hair care product which could keep my hair calm and styled, so my Mother - who is a hairdresser - recommended I try Kerastase. I honestly didn't expect it to work but tried it nevertheless. I was astounded by the results and my hair looked even better than when I style it at home. Thankfully, I felt more comfortable being involved in the wedding photographs and this product allowed me to just enjoy my day knowing my hair was under control.
While I've read many reviews saying people found this hair care product heavy and sticky, I think it is incredibly light. As long as you only use about one or two drops each time then I shouldn't see any problem, anything more probably would weigh your hair down - but this can happen when you put too much product on any type of hair.
Curly hair has a tendency to be dry and frizzy, but this Kerastase product made my hair feeling soft and bouncy whilst frizz-free.
I suggest anyone who uses this product just follows the recommended application directions. While it is slightly more expensive than other curl product brands on the market, I honestly think it pays to pay that little bit extra.
I have naturally curly/ wavy hair , I was once persuaded by a hairdresser to get this ( as they do!) it was the older version of the product which was called Elasto Curl I think ...that one was fine and had a very mystic incense type smell which was lovely. Once I ran out I went for a replacement but it had been discontinued and I was given this product - I find this product quite heavy, and the drawback is that you have to wash your hair the next day otherwise it forms mini dreadlocks out of the ends of your hair!!! The product is also quite difficult to get off the hands, with many curl creams once you've done your hair you can just wipe hands on a towel - I find this one is too sticky and clumpy and you gotta go wash hyour hands which is quite annoying when getting ready and you have a ton of other things to do. Don't think I'll be buying this when I run out again - I find the Frizz ease curl cream better and lighter, both texture wise and also handbag wise!
