The hairdressers at Toni and Guy recommended this product to my Mum, who has her hair highlighted. IOver time her hair had become brittle and was breaking off, which was a problem as she was trying to grow it at the time. She'd tried all sorts of deep conditioning treatments but usually finds them too heavy for her fine hair, leaving it lank and greasy. She was instantly converted to this product after the first use, with a visible difference to her locks, that were now soft and silky. She uses the product all the time now, and her hair is in such good condition desppite still having it ighlighted. I too have been converted to the product, and have fouind that it has meant i can go mnuch longer in between haircuts as it seems to seal any split ends and vastly improves the condition of your hair, meaning i can be tight and miss out on those extra hair appointments for special occasions!
I like to have my hair highlighted and although I love the results over time the chemicals used have weakened my hair. This results in my hair looking lifeless and dry. My trusted hairdresser recommended I try Kerastase resistance ciment anti-usure conditioner. I am already a fan of Kerastase hair products as I my salon use them and I have always been very pleased with the results.
Kerastase was first developed in 1964 by L'Oreal Paris. It is now available worldwide. There is an extensive range that includes shampoos, conditioners, and other special hair treatments. There is a product for all hair types including a range of treatments for hair problems.
Kerastase has been favourably reviewed in magazines such as Vogue. Several famous women such as Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Aniston are reported to use Kerastase. Kerastase has always won several prestigious awards for its products.
The Kerastase resistance range is designed to help strengthen weakened hair, especially hair damaged by the use of chemicals. I have quite long hair and the resistance ciment anti-usure conditioner is particularly suitable for longer hair. This because it is designed to be used on the hair from mid way down to the ends of your hair. I have found that using it on my scalp makes my hair a bit greasy.
To help you recognise this conditioner it comes in a light green bottle with a darker green lid. It has a pump action dispenser that works well and prevents any from spilling.
It is recommended that you first shampoo your hair with Kerastase Bain de force (strengthening) shampoo. I actually use various shampoos .I use a walnut sized amount of the conditioner after towelling out the excess water. Massage the conditioner into your scalp and then rinse off well.
The conditioner is thick and has a wonderful scent! I find describing smells difficult but this smells clean with a light floral perfume. It is not too heady and the perfume lasts on your hair.
When I first started to use this conditioner about 6 months ago I noticed an immediate improvement in the condition of my hair. It no longer felt brittle and was tangle free when a pulled a comb through. I was always really pleased with how shiny my hair looked.
Kerastase products are not widely available. They are available from some salons and I have noticed a few web sites selling Kerastase products a little cheaper than many salons.
I paid £15 for a 200 ml bottle so this is not cheap but then I'm worth it! I have had my bottle for about 6 months now and still have a little left.
