Kms flat out weightless shine spray

Sometimes in more humid climates, my hair can become more frizzy and having tried out a range of products with varying degrees of success, I bought this at my local salon and decided to give it a whirl.

The product costs about £3.50 for 125ml of the stuff and is available from salons and also online from different websites.

As the name suggests it promises to be a weightless shine spray which will add a lustre to the hair whilst at the same time fighting frizz. It is suitable for all hair styles and especially fine hair. Whilst I don't have particularly fine hair it is quite flyaway so this should be a good product for me to use.

The product comes in a purple bottle with all of the information and instructions on the back of the bottle. It has a press down pump action spray so the product is released when the pump is pressed down.

When I press on the dispenser the product is released easily in bursts of a fine clear spray which is easily directed at the hair and which doesn't spray all over the place. It has a very pleasant kind of floral scent but not sickly floral rather more a fresh clean scent. This smell does linger slightly in the hair but I like this because it gives my hair a nice clean just washed smell.

The spray isn't sticky at all mainly because the product doesn't promise to offer hair any hold but the information on the back of the bottle reels me that whilst it has no hold it does offer a maximum shine rating.

To use the product, simply apply sparingly to damp hair before styling. For an extra shine, the product can be applied after styling, so it can be applied between washes. I don't wash my hair every day but to give it a bit of a boost on the day in between I do spray this on to my hair and then restraighten.

The downside to all of these shiny hair promises is the fact that it doesn't promise to offer any protection against heat when styling hair. I like to use a heat protection product and when I use this I don't tend to use one because I think the products will all clash against each other and none of them will be able to effectively do as they promise.

To remove the product hair just has to be washed as usual, with no special shampoo or extra washing required.

      VERDICT...

I didn't especially notice any more shine on my hair although it does seem to make my hair less frizzy when it is humid. Little Miss has hair which dries naturally into loose curls and when it is humid we spray this onto the ends of hair which seems to do the job of ensuring the ends don't frizz up. However there are much cheaper products which can do this just as well.

One thing I do like about it is when I use it as a bit of a freshen up when my hair isn't dirty but I need to feel that I've done something with it; simply spray and shine. I also like the fact that it doesn't make my hair feel hard and immovable like a hair spray would.

It is easy to use and smells nice on my hair but I won't be rushing out to buy it again.

      Thanks for reading

      Daniela xx
