Advantages: Natural Looking, Very workable, washes out easily

Disadvantages: Expensive, Smells quite strongly of fruit!, hard to find

I first bought KMS Hair Play Modeling Paste while on holiday in New Zealand. Its just an amazing product which is so easy to use and easy to style with. My friend had it to create a mini mohican style with his hair which was cool, he had very thick wirey hair and it worked very well. I have shortish fine hair that never stays put for long with the usual supermarket rubbish, but hair play works wonders. This stuff is available in salons mostly i think. It comes in a tube like a toothpaste pump, which is cool and mess free. It also lets you see how much is left.

I use it mainly on damp hair which gives an amazing natural and healthy looking shine. It gives total control over the style and adds great texture. I found that gels used to sort of 'shatter' after a while because of their hardness, but hair play just sort of bounces! It doesnt get flaky and just flexes and adjusts throughout the day. In fact I could probably put it on in the morning and it would still hold and look good to go out that night. I prefer not to use it on dry hair cos it just looks a bit matted. Hair Play washes out very easily and it doesnt seem to have any damaging chemicals. Dont use too much in one go though as it can get too heavy.

Ill never use any other product until I start to lose my hair! Then Ill just shave it off!

The only drawback is the tube is quite expensive, but my 3.5floz lasted a month on average.

www.kmshaircare.co.uk has an outlet locator thingy. But if that fails just type kms hair care online ordering or something like that into a search engine and youll get a few places in usa that will send it to you via mail order. www.hairmedic.com is good and you dont even need a credit card as they have special arrangements for old fashioned mail order. Watch out though as some american sites automatically whack on a UPS delivery which can cost around 60 quid! If you live in austraila its available online very cheaply indeed. UK has a few
mail order sites too.
