Advantages: Gorgeous smell and protects against the harmful effects of the sun.

Disadvantages: The price and it isn't a fixing spray.

I have been quite a big fan of KMS products ever since my hairdresser introduced them to me.
I bought this product last year, having been abroad for four days in intense heat I came back with hair like straw. Knowing that I was going away again, I bought this on the advice of the pro and how glad I was to have had it!

~ Price and Availability ~

I have never seen this in the shops, only at hair salons but I know that you can get it on the internet.
I paid £12.95 for it last year and I have found the following websites that sell it for the same price but look out for the postage costs, approx £2.75.

~ What is this product? ~

Part of KMS's sol perfection range, this an all day protection spray.

* Can be used on wet or dry hair

~ My experience ~

It's the smell that does it for me!! Apparantly it's a pina colada fragrance, never having smelt that I can't comment on that fact. What I do know is that the smell is fab. It's a very mild, fruity smell which leaves your hair smelling great.

This has an easy pump action which has thus far never clogged up which often happens to some of my other pump spray hair products.

I generally only ever apply it to dry hair unless I remember to take it to the beach and put it on after going for a swim. It isn't sticky at all and leaves your hair feeling soft and smooth.

It really does do what it says in terms of protecting my hair from the harsh effects of the sun on my hair. After using it on my second time abroad last year, I returned after one week without a bale of hay or straw on my head!! The UV filters obviously work and it also protected the colour as often the sun makes my generally very dark brown hair go a 'nasty' colour!!

The only thing I would say it wasn't, which I have seen it advertised as on certain websites is a styling spray. It doesn't hold your hair in place, it simply protects it from the ravages of the sun!

I have a few hair care products by KMS and have been really pleased with all of them.

KMS have a huge range of products to suit almost every need. The range is divided in to ten colour-coded regimes which I have listed below:

Unusually they don't have the sol perfection range listed on their website at the moment but there are a few products in this range for those of you interested in looking after your hair on holiday etc. They all come in deep yellow to light plastic bottles.

There is also a sun and water care kit available in this range.

This really does work and am certainly going to be getting a couple of the other sol perfection products for my summer hols, if I ever get one booked!

It may seem a bit on the expensive side (hence the 4 stars) but the 250ml bottle has lasted me since last summer and will see me in to this one, so not bad for a whole year's worth!

Summary: A worthwhile investment for those who want to protect their hair from the sun's rays!
