I have worn an updo on Friday, I have established with lots of hairpins. But my hair is very soft and fine and must therefore be fixed. Decided I was after some superiority for Elnett because this is a brand product and I have thus in the past made fairly good experiences with. I decided as a precaution a firm hold. The hairspray is quite simple to use, I can save myself at this point the statement. By pressing the atomizer, the hairspray is delivered over a large area. The spray is very fine and therefore be applied quite fast and efficient. The smell is unfortunately not mine, I find him quite dated and dowdy. Really long does the scent in your hair but not to and therefore do not bother me further. The manufacturer promises that with a brush stroke can brush out the hair spray again. That is indeed true, and works really well. The hairspray is sufficient support, my hair has held throughout the evening. What has struck me very negative that the hairspray hair very dry out. The saw unfortunately not nice at all. My hair lacked shine.
L’Oréal’s Elnett Satin Supreme Hold Hairspray claims to be the finest hairspray used by the finest stylists. Althought I'm unsure as to whether this claims is true due to the product's extrememly low price I would definitely recommend it to anyone!
L’Oréal claim to have developed Elnett’s unique formula for long lasting hold without a feeling of stiffness that comes with many hairsprays, a feeling that I personally hate. I'm always on the lookout for a hairspray that'll leave my hair light without that undesirable stickyness. Elnett certainly protects your style, so it stays perfect for longer.
I have quite whispy, curly hair that never stays in place, but Elnett hairspray keeps my outlying whisps of hair stuck in place without the greasy look. Boots website says that this hairspray comes with a 'patented micro-diffuser', Elnett Satin Supreme Hold Hairspray sprays ultra-fine so you can hardly see it or feel it and disappears at the stroke of a brush, leaving hair feeling clean, soft and shiny. Although I wouldn't say that the stuff disappears completely at the stroke of a brush, it certainly does't tangle the hair up and make it all clumpy and horrible.
I usially recieve this hairspray as a christmas or birthday gift off my mum, so a bottle usually lasts me about a year/ half the year as I only use it for really special occasions. I've noticed that you can buy it in Savers at £5 for two large bottles which is actually a great price for such a lovely hair product.
I bought a beauty box from latest in beauty and it had a bottle of L'Oreal Paris Elnett Satin in the box. I didn't buy the box for this reason, I actually got a 30ml primer by Laura Mercier that founded the purchasing decision, but there were ten items in the box in addition to the primer plus a free Glamour subscription (an electronic one) and free postage, I didn't really have to think twice!
The hairspray is just the small supposed hand bag sized tin but you can buy the full sized 400ml bottle on Feel Unique's website for £7.51 to give an idea of price.
I have owned Elnett before and liked it although it does have quite a perfumed certain smell to it. The spray is always a fine mist and does not make my hair feel knotty with it or hard. But it holds your style in place for hours.
You can spray this directly on your roots without backcombing for good volume effect.
I do also find that even the smaller hand bag sized bottle will last me months with fairly regular use, but I don't use hairspray every days that is quite true for most hairsprays with me.
I know this brand use a high end performing artist to advertise their products, Cheryl (surname unsure now). I realise this must add a bit on to the price too but that's fair enough.
I am pleased with the performance of Elnett satin and won't hesitate to buy it again. I don't mind paying a little extra for it as it is a quality item and gives a good quality performance too.
I haven't been able to find any more tins of L'oreal Satin Supreme Hold hairspray for ages now and I used to love this stuff. I have used l'oreal hairs[ray (Elnett) for years and even though it's really expensive I find that I don't need to use nearly as much of it as I do my cheaper hairsprays. This satin hold spray was really brilliant for giving me natural hold but no matter how long a day I had had (and no matter what the weather) this would hold my style in place all day long and it never let me down. I love the fact that this hairspray used to come i=out in the finest mist imaginable. The top never jammed like some of my cheaper sprays can and my style stayed in place for the entire day - even in really humid or wet weather. I used to buy mine from Boots where it cost me one pound seventy for a can but it is the top of the range as far as hairsprays go and worth every penny. These days I have found this particular hairspray harder to find in the shops
