      Full Restore Spray in Conditioner

      The Product
      = = = = = = =
This product is by L'Oreal Elvive and is part of the Full Restore range. This particular product is a replenishing leave in conditioner spray that's light and quick to use. The product helps to de-tangle hair and leaves lifeless, limp hair looking replenished and fullness is restored. The formula is enriched with Pro-Keratin and Ceramide which helps to replenish the hair. Although I don't think my hair is in particularly bad condition I do colour it every 8-10 weeks which can make my hair feel dry and damaged. I also use hair straighteners at least twice a week and although I use a heat protection spray I still often worry about the damage straighteners can do to my hair. I recently used another product in the full restore range and was really impressed with the result which is why I decided to try this product also in the same range. I normally use Aussie leave in conditioner but whilst in my local boots store I specifically looked for this product to try. The conditioner comes in a spray bottle which is white in colour and you can see the liquid moving about slightly in the bottle. The bottle has a red cap to it which is made from strong plastic. On the front of the bottle it states what the product is and you can clearly see it's from the Full Restore range. On the back of the product you will find some information about the product, how it works and how to use it. On the back of the bottle is also a list of ingredients.

You can purchase this from Boots or Superdrug for approximately £3.99. You can also purchase the product from various different websites.

      Using the Product

Although it states you can use the product on wet or dry hair my intention was to use it on wet hair after using shampoo & conditioner, just before blow drying. I would be a little worried about using this on dry hair in fear that it may make my hair a little greasy. I towel dried my hair first to ensure that it wasn't dripping and then I sprayed a generous amount of product all over my hair. I didn't apply too much as the last thing I wanted was greasy hair from using too much of it. After applying the product, I combed it through using a wide toothed comb. The comb went through my hair really easy without getting caught in any knots or tangles. The product comes out in a very fine mist and is a very light white colour; how-ever you can't really see the colour of the product much once sprayed onto wet hair. The smell of the spray was very light but was very pleasant and after spraying the product I could actually smell the conditioner on my wet hair. I blew dry my hair as usual with my hair upside down to create a bit of volume.

As I dried my hair it smelt fresh from the smell of the conditioner spray. After drying my hair I flipped my hair back and decided to look at the results in the mirror. When running my fingers through my hair it felt lovely and soft and it also felt silky. When looking in the mirror my hair looked in lovely condition and it had a nice shine to it as well. My hair didn't look dry even at the ends which was impressive. I felt as though my hair had a salon feel to it as it looked so good and replenished. The smell of the conditioner wasn't as strong now my hair had been blow dried but my hair did smell fresh and clean and it felt really clean and fresh too. The conditioner was light and it didn't weigh my hair down. The product didn't make my hair greasy any quicker than what it normally would and I was able to leave my hair for at least 2 days before having to wash it again. You can use the product on dry my hair to refresh the hair between washes but I haven't yet used it on dry hair and won't as I don't really think my hair needs refreshing that much between washes.

      Overall Opinion

Due to the impressive results I had from the last product I used in this range I had very high hopes of this product as I wasn't disappointed. The product definitely lives up to its claims of leaving hair feeling and looking replenished. As the conditioner comes in a spray form it means it's really easy to apply and you can ensure you cover all of your hair. My hair was easier to comb through when using this product. I liked the fresh/clean smell of the product and I like the fact that some scent of the product stays on your hair even after it's been blow dried. In terms of value I think this product is very reasonable and very good value. I'm not sure what this would be like to use on dry hair but I would love to hear anyone's experience on using it on dry hair. As I only use this product on my hair 2-3 times a week the bottle will last me a good amount of time before I need to purchase anymore. I think this product will be particularly good to use during the hot summer months when hair can get damaged from the sun and salt in the sea. I would highly recommend this product and I'm sure just like me you will also be impressed with the results.
