“ Brand: L'Oréal / Type: Hair Shampoo „
In this review I am going to tell you about L'Oreal Kids Mango 2in1 Shampoo and Conditioner and how it makes mine and my daughters life a lot easier and hassle free :-)
Previously I have only tried the Lavender version (which I have also reviewed), as it suited my needs better - I tended to use it after my daughter had come out of the swimming pool and the lavender one appealed more as it tended to make her sleepy before bedtime... However I am open to trying new things and my daughter loves strawberry scents... In my latest visit to Tesco I spotted the Mango and Strawberry versions at buy one get one free - at just £1.99... So as you do, I stocked up!
My daughter attends swimming lessons twice a week and has very long nice normal hair... to keep it this way I prefere to wash her hair straight away whilst in the swimming baths rather than leave her hair full of chlorine overnight or wait til I get home - saves my hot water as well this way ;-)
My little girl hates having her hair washed she is forever complaining that I pull her hair too much... or the shampoo stings her eyes... This range is definetly the mildest I have found on childrens skin and eyes.
I started using the L'Oreal childrens range around around two years ago when she started her swimming lessons because I am aware L'Oreal is a well known brand and I believed it would be mild on her young head - The no tears and no knots slogan on the adverts also sold the product for me!
There is a total of 4 2in1 shampoo's in the L'Oreal range. The choices you have are:
* Mango Tango
* Cherry Almond
However I have not seen the cherry version in my local Tesco before.
About the Lid
Rather than the lid being straight along the top of the bottle it slants the the side giving the overall bottle a unique shape. The lid colour is a darker orange in comparrison to the rest of the bottle and is quite firm to open / close - great for little hands not being able to cause a mess!
About the bottle
The bottle, as mentioned above is a very unique shape. There is no other bottle like it that I have seen... The bottle contents are also 250ml - just to give you an idea on the size... The bottle itself is quite small in comparison to other 2in1's - this doesnt put me off because the liquid does tend to last a long time between buying new bottles in my opinion! The bottle is not too hard to squeeze the liquid out it can be used easily enough - even by children.
The Scent Of The Product
To me, the closest scent I can compare the liquid to is almost like Robinsons Diluated Squash! Or like a holiday... I love it!
About The Liquid
The liquid colour is a pearl colour with a hint of orange to go with the product type. The texture of the liquid is not too thick / too runny - its just right. It also doesnt take a lot of liquid to be used to create a good lather in your childs hair - which great compared to a lot of supermarket own brands you would likely need to use twice as much as this brand - therefore costing you more in the long run.
The bottle itself is a lighter orange colour than the lid. Compared to when I purchased the Lavender version of this 2-in-1 the label has completely changed. On the front you have a large image of Manny from the Ice Age films - and it also advertises the new Ice Age 4 movie. It also gives you the chance to win a trip to Florida - info for this is on the back and can be found at lorealkids.co.uk - no purchase neccessary.
The back label then reads the following:
L'Oreal kids is so gentle, its tear free.
Formula tested under ophthalmologist control.
L'Oreal kids makes hair so soft and shiny!
Knots can't fight against the conditioning 2in1 formula of L'Oreal kids. Its creamy formula leaves hairsoft, smooth, managable and extra shiny!
L'Oreal kids is easy to use and smells so good!
With L'Oreal kids its fun to shampoo!
With its soft bottle its easy to hold. With L'Oreal kids its fun to shampoo! Wet hair, squeeze a little on to your palm. Apply shampoo and lather up. Rinse clean. The delicious smell of mangos makes hair washing a real treat!
CAUTION: DO NOT SWALLOW. KEEP OUT OF REACH OF INFANTS UNLESS SUPERVISED BY ADULTS. IN CASE OF CONTACT WITH EYES RINSE IMMEDIATLY.

* The bottle also states the product has shelf life of up to 12 months - which is good in my opinion.
For those who need to check for allergies on their childrens skin, the product uses the following ingredients:
AQUA / WATER, SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE, POLYSORBATE 21, COCAMIDOPROPYL, BETANE, CETYL ALCOHOL, HYDROXSTEARYL CETYL ETHER, COCAMIDE MIPA, SODIUM CHLORIDE, SODIUM METHYLPATRABEN, DMDM, HYDANTOIN, PHENOXYETHANOL, ETHYLPARABEN, POLYQUATERNIUM-10, DIMETHICONE, PROPYLENE GLYENE, PROPYLPARABEN, ISOBUTYLPARABEN, CARBOMER, METHYLPARABEN, BUTYLPARABEN, HEXYLENE GLYCOL, PARFUM / FRAGRANCE
I love the smell from this version of their 2-in-1 and in my opinion the scent is more noticable than the Lavender & Strawberry ones I have tried - however in no way overpowering...
The shampoo is great in everyway. Cuts the time used in having to shampoo your childs hair, then wash off... then condition and then wash off again... This product means it can be done all in one. My daughter has commented on how this product doesnt sting her eyes as much as others have (Although its not completly sting free this is the only downside!). It smells great. Easy to use and the product lasts a long time. I have never noticed any irritation / dandruff on my childs head nor does she complain about it. It also does keep knotty hair at bay like the adverts state.
The only thing I can advise, if you have very young children / babies - be vary wary before using this product on their due to their sensitive heads - the last thing you want to do is cause them dandruff / sore heads at their ages. There is no age that the product is recommended towards but personally I would advise after the age of 4 - as my daughter has normal skin/hair, she started using the product at this age and there has been no problems.
At the time of writing this review you there is a buy-1-get-1-free offer in Tesco for £1.99.
I picked this L'oreal kids shampoo up when I was out shopping mainly because the bright colour attracted me to it but when I got home my daughter complained that she wasn't a baby anymore and didn't need kids shampoo but after using it she is a convert and now loves it. My son too who isn't really bothered what shampoo he uses seems to like it but then again he would happily never wash his hair again if I didn't force him too.
The shampoo is a 2 in 1 with a built in conditioner and the bottle is shaped to appeal to kids and looks like a fish or a whale. I bought a couple of the shampoos but the kids both agreed that this mango scented one was their favourite.
You just use this as you would any other shampoo and I found that after using it my daughter's hair especially was lovely and soft and although not tangle free the built in conditioner did make it seem less knotted than if she had just a shampoo on its own.
My son suffers from an itchy flaky scalp and this in no way irritated it or caused it to become worse. In fact I would say that it actually soothed it especially in comparison to some shampoos that I have used on him in the past that have made him completely break out.
The smell is what really attracted me to it as I personally love the smell of mangos and even after a whole day at school I can still smell this off my daughters hair when she gets home. It is a really gorgeous smell and not synthetic and sickly sweet like some other mango products that I have used.
The shampoo was also quite cheap and was only £1.50 for a bottle which I thought was really good value. The bottle is 250ml and lasts quite a long time as you only need a little to get a nice lather going.
I will definitely be picking up some more of this shampoo, I will probably not bother with the other ones in the range as although they are good my son especially wasn't keen on what he considered to be girly smells.
I have been buying L'oreal kids for the past few weeks to take swimming with me. I like to use a 2 in 1 to save time and there don't seem to be many choices out there so as this was only 99p I bought this along with the Cherry Almond version and a Very Berry conditioner.
The shampoo comes in a bottle which is shaped like a fish, it has an eye, fins and a gill printed on the bottle which is designed to appeal to kids. The bottle is also made from a softened plastic which makes it easy for little hands to grip the bottle. This design also makes it useful for me when showering after swimming as it is easy to holld and use.
The shampoo is for all hair types. It is designed to leave hair soft, prevent and untangle knots and leave hair soft and shiny. The shampoo has been opthalmologist tested so it is tear free, I have accidently got this in my eye while rushing and I can safely say that it doesn't sting!
To use the shampoo you simply wet hair and lather then rinse. The shampoo is a pale orangey colour. The smell is really nice and would really appeal to kids, it smells very mangoey and fruity. I liked the smell although it isn't my favourite I still prefer the Cherry Almond version. This shampoo lather up really well, I do tend to use more shampoo than I normally would at home after I have been swimming as I hate the smell of chlorine. The shampoo feels really creamy once it's lathered up and it rinses away easily.
After using this my hair smelt really nice and the smell of chlorine had gone. My hair is normally quite tangled after swimming and after washing with this shampoo it is easy to get a comb through my hair which is mid length and really thick. After drying my hair it felt nice, not as soft as if I had used separate products but it still looked shiny and healthy. I have also used this shampoo on my 7 month old daughter. She has a lot of hair so we have gone through a lot of different baby and kids shampoos in the last few weeks trying to find one that prevents knots in the back of her hair. My daughters hair get really tangled at the back where she is lying on her blankets during nap time and from her car seat where she likes to move her head around a lot. I struggle to comb the knots out and we have to use a detangling spray most days. I tried this shampoo on her hair and it made a huge difference a lot of baby shampoos we have used are too mild and they don't do a lot for her hair but this made her hair soft and easy to comb, it is now a firm favourite in our bathroom.
I would definately recommend this shampoo it's not just for kids, I also use it as a shower gel to save time after swimming and it does a good job of washing your skin as well as your hair.
Well if any of you have read my previous reviews you will know that I bought this range as my four year old pointed them out on the end of an aisle at Asda as she wanted the pink one, since they were selling for £1 instead of £2 at the time I stocked up on the majority of them to try. The reason I wanted to try so many of them is it is quite hard to find a suitable shampoo for her hair that is also conditioning, her hair is very long and also thick, I used to use Avons products on her but as we no longer have a rep in our area and I am not willing to pay the postage I need an alternative.
The shampoo comes in a nicely shaped bottle, curved slightly on one side and more abruptly on the other in a nice orangey yellow colour with a bright orange flip top lid which is also different on either side. Now I have pointed out in previous reviews how the bottle appears to have an eye on it and 6 little semi circles that look like fishes scales well it has taken me until now to realise that the bottle is supposed to be shaped like a fish if you turn it on its side! On the front of the bottle you also have the make and name of the product and that it is a 2 in 1 written along with the claims of it being no tears, no knots and that this is for extra shine.
The top being a flip top is easy to open with wet hands and when you do open it you are greeted with a lovely fruity smell, I can smell mango in this but also other fruits and it reminds me of fruity sweets such as chewitts or fruit mentos. Both myself and my daughter really like the smell and she likes to smell my hands once I have lathered the shampoo which is very easy to do and even on her very long hair I only need to use a 50 pence sized blob to create enough lather to wash her long hair. The shampoo is very easy to rinse out and doesn't leave any residue in her hair and after using this like the rest of the L'Oreal kids range her hair will go 3-4 days without washing.
I like this product and I will be buying from the range again but it isn't my favourite as I prefer the cheeky cherry version. I would have to say that although my daughters hair is left soft and tangle free it is not any more shiny than when we have used the others in the range so I don't think it really lives up to the extra shine claim. The smell remains in the hair for a day or so which I like as it at least smells clean for longer than some other ranges and the shampoo is certainly no tears as promised, one I would pick if the cherry wasn't available.
==L'Oreal Kids Mango 2 in 1 Shampoo==
.The L'Oreal Kids shampoo range have been around for a good while and I have been using them on Jack's hair from time to time (mainly determined by when they are on offer or not). Usually they sell for a little under the £2 mark but can often be found on offer at £1 or just a little over which is when I pick up a bottle.
The good thing about this particular kids shampoo is that is smells really good and a bottle lasts for ages seeing as we are only using it on Jack's short hair. The bottle contains 250 ml which lasts us a good few months and is certainly worth the money paid especially when purchased on a special offer.
The bottle is not only eye catching in colour with the bright orange used but it is also eye catching in shape with a design which reminds me of a fish. The bottle stands easily and the flip lid and hole dispenser make it an easy shampoo bottle to use. The bottle also gives us all the necessary product information such as the fact that it has the same as Johnson's with a "no more tears" formula which is safe to get in your child's eyes , although Jack would never let this happen without screaming the house down anyway!
Because of the size of the bottle and the amount of product that you actually need per use, it does mean that the bottle of product just keeps going on and on and on. Really I can get away with using a 10 pence piece sized amount of the orange, glistening shampoo on Jack's hair and still get a really good lather and clean from it. It seems that a relatively small amount will indeed go a long way.
The mango scent of the shampoo really is lovely and natural without that manufactured smell that a lot of highly scented shampoos do have. The 2 in 1 being the shampoo and conditioner is really an added bonus because I never go out and buy conditioner for Jack seeing as his hair is short and not especially thick. However the bonus of having it built into this shampoo does make for a really good product. The shampoo not only leaves Jack's hair smelling lovely fresh and fruity but also leaves it feeling very clean ans super soft. He doesn't ever have the problem of knots in his hair or tangles because of it being so short but I could imagine this shampoo working wonders on long knot ridden hair as it makes Jack's so smooth.
All in all as far as children's shampoos go, this is a really good one. It can be found at a cheap price on special offer but even the RRP of the item is still value for money. It leaves the hair smelling super nice and also feeling really clean, soft and fresh. It doesn't sting if it does get in the eyes and really you couldn't ask for more and for that reason I feel that a top score of 5 out of 5 stars and a very high recommendation is well deserved by this product.
I do hope that this has been of some help/interest to you
Many thanks for taking the time to read.
Since stopping using Johnson's baby shampoo on my daughters hair I have bought various different childrens shampoo's for her as I don't like to stick to the same one all the time. I regularly bought L'Oreal Kids cheeky cherry shampoo but my daughter decided that she no longer liked the smell of it but I really like how shiny and soft it left her hair after washing. One afternoon the local pound shop had some of the shampoo in stock and there was a choice between strawberry and mango so I thought I would give the mango a try.
The bottle just leaps out from the shelf as it is bright yellow in colour and is quite child-like in shape design. On the front of the bottle there is a large green eye which makes it look like it should be a fish or something like that. The brand name is in large lettering on the front along with the scent. The lid is a large clip lid that is child friendly and has the look of a large nose!
Opening the lid for the first time I was amazed at how strong the scent actually is! It is a really fruity scent though it isn't a sickly one like some shampoo's can sometimes seem. The shampoo has a 2-1 conditioning formula in which is great for my daughters hair as she has really long and very thick hair - which she hates having washed - so it makes it really soft and shiny after use. Even though my daughter has very long hair you only really need a small amount of this shampoo as it lathers up really well. I still have issues with trying to get my little girl to tip her head back when I am rinsing the shampoo out of her hair so every single time we wash it we end up with the shampoo going in her eyes! This does however prove that their no tears claim does actually work as her eyes never sting after getting some in.
After use it is really easy to brush through my daughters hair which shows that the conditioner within does help reduce tangles. I have found that the scent does linger in her hair for a few days after washing, longer than any of the other shampoo's that we have used.
This shampoo cost me just a pound from the local discount store, though I think if you purchase it from the supermarket it will cost around £2.00 which isn't bad as it does last a long time. I would happily recommend this shampoo, and have to admit I have used it on my hair too though it doesn't last just as long with mine!!
Thank you for reading my review.
I purchased the L'Oreal Kids 2 in 1 Mango Shampoo after a friend recommended it too me. Before using this shampoo i used Avon kids shampoo and a separate conditioner on each of my children's heads. My children hate getting hair washed so the 2 in 1 would be quicker and less of a struggle for them. I purchased the L'Oreal Kids 2 in 1 Shampoo from Asda as that's where i do my weekly shopping, on the shelf was a few other scents but i went for the mango as it smelled divine.
L'Oreal Kids 2 in 1 Mango Shampoo cost £2.79 for a 250 ml bottle. L'Oreal Kids 2 in 1 Mango Shampoo comes in a bright yellow bottle that looks child friendly, its made from plastic and has a face on the bottle with an eye near the lid. I would say a happy face my daughter tells me its a fish.
The lid is on the curved corner of the bottle and once this has been removed you can see a small hole where the shampoo can be dispensed.
L'Oreal Kids 2 in 1 Mango Shampoo comes out the bottle looking transparent yellow in colour and in thick gooey liquid form, first thing noticed is the incredible fruity smell. It does smell of mango clearly but a strong water melon scent too, its really lovely.
I find the shampoo lathers very well, plenty of bubbles in my daughters hair therefore i'm happy with the thought its cleaning my daughters hair. This is a 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner. The conditioner is for reducing tangles in the hair and obviously conditioning the hair. I can definitely say my daughter long thick hair absorbs the conditioner well and it rinses out quickly causing her less distress. When i comb her wet hair it is less tuggy or tangled and her hair feels silky. When hair is dry the mango scent is really strong and lasts for a good few days.
My children even the boys like this shampoo and although it costs more than i would normally pay its saving me money having the conditioner in it too.
For a lovely smelling child friendly shampoo that cleans and conditions the hair i highly recommend L'Oreal Kids 2 in 1 Mango Shampoo.
I've been using L'Oreal's range of children's shampoos on my oldest sons' hair for a few years now. The shampoos come in a range of fun, fruity fragrances and all boast the 'no tears' promise and actually deliver on these claims. For years, I endured blood-curdling screams from the boys every time I washed their hair so finding a product that was as gentle on their eyes as it is on their hair was a priority. Nowadays, using these child-friendly shampoos makes hair washing almost a pleasure.
This particular variety, the Tropical Mango shampoo, is classed as a two-in-one as it also contains conditioning agents. My main reason for buying it is less for its conditioning ability and more for the absolutely gorgeous smell that it produces. As you'd expect the scent this releases is fresh, fruity and fun. I find that the aroma lingers on my boys' hair for several days, if I'm lax enough to leave them that long between washes. The mango scent is immediately recognisable and, clearly, this wouldn't be one to choose if you're not a fan of the fruit as the scent really does live up to its namesake. I suspect the fragrance is aimed more at girls than boys, like most of the L'Oreal Kids range. There isn't really anything similar on the market aimed at young boys, though, for some reason. Perhaps boys are supposed to be too tough for 'no tears' products? My boys are big softies anyway and they both love the smell of this, often getting bubbles up their noses just trying to have a sniff out of the bottle!
Performance-wise, this leaves my sons' hair feeling beautifully soft and clean, without stripping it of natural oils or drying it out in any way. My boys' hair is naturally quite thick but this leaves it manageable and almost fluffy, when freshly washed. I do believe that this would be suitable for longer hair as its built-in conditioner would help to reduce tangles. I've never attempted to use this on my own long, naturally curly hair though but I suspect that a conditioner would still be an essential for me.
The shampoo is quite reasonably priced, costing around £1.89 - £2 for a 250ml eye-catching orange and yellow squeezy bottle. This is sold in most major supermarkets and branches of Boots. Unfortunately, I never seem to find this one in any of the usual discount stores (such as B&M or Home Bargains) so it's not a variety that I buy as frequently as the others in the range. I am a cheapskate, however, as I can't say that this shampoo isn't worth every penny!
The shampoo performs effectively, leaves behind a fresh, clean and fruity fragrance and, crucially, doesn't sting my little ones' eyes. Like all of the L'Oreal Kids range of shampoo, Tropical Mango is an excellent choice to banish hair washing tantrums for good - as well as leaving your kids smelling good enough to eat.
I was in Sainsbury's supermarket recently on the hunt for a detangling spray for my daughter when I came across the L'Oreal kids range reduced to just a pound. I have tried the cherry and almond shampoo in the past for my daughter and I remembered that she used to love the smell of how juicy these were so I decided to give the mango one a go.
The mango shampoo comes in a bright yellow bottle that in my case seems to be limited edition for the new movie Rio. The bottle is funky and it definitely stands out on the shelf along with all the other nicely designed L'Oreal kids' products. The bottle size is 250ml and it contains an orange clip top lid that makes dispensing the shampoo easy.
The scent of this shampoo is extremely fruity and it is certainly a pleasure to use. The mango is gorgeous and it is great to see that the scent remains on the hair long after drying which is an added bonus. The shampoo has a conditioning 2 in 1 formula that makes hair washing a little bit easier especially if you have children that really don't like having their hair washed. After using this product no separate conditioner is required. I have to say that this shampoo has a rather thick consistency and it can leave a nasty greasy residue in the hair if it has not been rinsed out properly so care has to be taken to ensure the product is rinsed extra well.
My daughter has very tatty hair so I always have to use a de-tangler after washing however once her hair is dry it looks super soft and shiny. Overall I am very pleased with the L'Oreal shampoo it smells good enough to eat and it has a no tears formula with built in conditioners. The only downside is the thickness of it.
Washing my two years old's hair is an extremely traumatic experience. There are lots of tears, some screaming and genuine anguish. And that's just me!
All joking aside, she can be happy as Larry in the bath, but as soon as a drop of water touches her hair, the tears start, and it makes hairwashing extremely difficult as she clearly hates every second of it! I know that no product is going to improve this experience very much, but any shampoo that makes hair washing as quick, easy and painless as possible is a necessity.
The No Tears format of this shampoo was a vital selling point for me as it's always a challenge to keep the suds out of MissD's crying eyes! I was also really attracted by the packaging, which is bright orange, and very fun and kid-friendly. I also love mango so this was another reason why I picked it up - at least I could enjoy the smell while listening to my daughter's screams! This is actually a shampoo and conditioner in one - this made no difference to me but may be a good option if your child's hair is prone to tangles. As it is MissD doesn't have much hair, which has to be a good thing as at least hair washing is over reasonably quickly.
I bought this in Superdrug for around the £1.50 mark, which I think is about right for a kid's shampoo.
I think this looks really nice and fun on the bathroom shelf, and the little flip-top lid at the top makes it easy to open, even with wet hands. By the time I am opening the bottle, MissD is already in tears because her hair is wet! The first thing to say about this shampoo is that the smell is gorgeous! As mango-scented products go this really does have a super smell - not to sickly or over-powering but yummy and fruity. The shampoo is very thick - thicker than others I've used - and this means it takes a little longer to lather into MissD's hair - not ideal for me unfortunately as speed is of the essence. However, I don't need very much of this at all - I think I use less than a teaspoon-full to thoroughly wash MissD's hair.
As the formula is quite thick, it is also a little harder to wash out than other shampoos I've used - again this isn't ideal for me and I would prefer a thinner consistency. But the smell is enough to make up for this somewhat - it really does fill the bathroom and it makes the whole experience a bit more bearable (for me at least - my daughter couldn't care less!).
After washing the shampoo out and consoling my poor little girl, the smell is still strongly on my daughter's hair, and this is also the case once it's dry. I think this is lovely and I can't stop smelling her hair - the scent lasts for a good day or so too. It is also leaves her hair very soft and manageable which is an added bonus.
I think this is a very good shampoo for little ones - the packaging is bright and fun, the smell is amazing (and it lingers) and it leaves hair easier to manage. The price is right too! The only downside for me is that it's a little too thick, and for this it loses a star.
Overall, a good choice for hair - and that amazing smell means I may give it a go myself one day!
I have a goddess trilogy at home and each of them has incredibly thick and while it's beautiful it is also a bit of a bother (Yes I am being polite ) to wash and we have tears every time its time for the dreaded hair wash and the children cry too!
I have tried many different types of shampoo and conditioners which promise to make the hour long process bearable and easier and they all lied to me, I say that as that's what my daughters said after I promised that this was a magic shampoo and would get their hair smooth and soft and it wouldn't hurt when I combed it afterwards.
I noticed while shopping the llorel 2 in 1 shampoo and at first was confused, 2 in1? Perhaps it has added valium for mum or dad I thought and I was slightly disappointed when I read the label only to find out that the second ingredient was actually conditioner ( The bottle itself states that it shampoo) I have always used a separate shampoo and conditioner for myself and the kids and some how the 2 in 1 thing has passed me by.
The bottle itself really appeals to kids and just incase there is no picture this particular one is tropical mango scent and the bottle matches that. it's a lovely bright mango shade and my kids thought it looked yummy! After explaining that we were not to eat or drink the shampoo we bought it.
=== What the shampoo claims ===
It claims that "lorel kids shampoo makes hair so soft and shining and knots can not fight against the conditioning formula that leaves hair soft, shining and manageable" Now at this point I usually get excited and think thank goodness no more tantrums in the bathroom, no more screaming but I have been let down by these claims before and though "Aha I will not be fooled and you shampoo will have to prove your worth to me"
=== The Shampoo Experiment===
The bottle has a little flip lid and as soon as you open it the scent flows out and all you could hear in the bathroom was "ooohhh that smells lush!" from all three girls. The scent of mango is quite strong but we found that it was a really natural scent and didn't smell synthetic at all.
The shampoo had a lovely thick creamy texture to it and when I put in on the girls hair the scent is released further still and filled the bathroom which all girls thought was great and they said it was like having a bath in a fruit bowl.
The shampoo didn't just disappear into the hair and I was able to get it really lathered up on the girls hair which they thought was great and allowed them to produce some rather fabulous styles form Mohicans to devils horns!
When it came to washing out the shampoo it came out easily enough and I was surprised how much lather there was as I only used a 10p size amount on the girls hair.
This was where the shampoo was going to get the thumbs up or get thrown in the bin with the rest of the let downs.
Once I had towel dried the girls hair I took my comb and as I started to brush the comb just glided through their hair until I got near the bottom and it did get stuck but with some gentle combing I was able to ease the comb through and we had no tears from all girls although there was one "owww" but all in all this was a great result.
=== Drying the hair ===
I was really pleased with the result when the girls hair was dry, It was lovely and shiny and very soft, I should say that their hairs is always quite shiny and I don't think that the shine was down to the shampoo itself but their hair was definitely softer than normal.
=== Conclusion ===
I am going to leave the conclusion to my girls and let them know what they think
"I loved the smell of the shampoo, it was really fruity and I kept smelling my hair all day and Mammy didn't have to brush it hard so my head didn't hurt!"
"Mammy says my hair makes me look like an angel and its very swishy"
"I smell lush" oh and I want the cherry one next."
Okay go on then.......
I think that it's a great shampoo for children, it looks good which always helps with kids and has an absolutely wonderful smell that lasts long after they have had the hair washed. All three girls hair was much softer after using the shampoo and most importantly for me it detangled the hair enough so that I could comb it through without any tears.
You can also get many different scents or flavours as the girls call them from Lavender and cherry and a few more. I purchased the shampoo for just £1.00 on offer at Asda and the usually price is approx £1.70
