      Very helpful

      works well

Having rather limp hair, I'm forever experimenting with shampoos and conditioners and decided to splash out and try some of the hair products used by professional hairdressers as my hair always looks better after a salon visit.

We're all familiar with l'Oreal hair products such as Elvive, but this Professionnel Serie Expert range cannot be thrown in your trolley in Tesco along with your shopping. It is readily available from l'Oreal appointed hair salons but I actually bought mine from online beauty/hair retailer www.beautyflash.co.uk.

The Volume Extreme range has now been renamed Volume Expand - but is identical in every respect apart from the name. The conditioner, described as 'volumising cream conditioner for fine hair', comes in a 150ml flip top 'bottom down' plastic bottle. As with all of these luxury hair products, the formulation is thick - so you need very little - and fresh smelling. It is recommended that it is applied evenly to shampooed, towel-dried hair, combed through, left for 2-3 minutes and then rinsed thoroughly.

I used this conditioner in conjunction with the Volume Expand Shampoo (reviewed separately) and found it to be very effective and my hair definitely felt thicker and was very shiny.

      Size: 150ml
      Price: £9.25
Summary: Expensive but I'm worth it!
