I've been dying my hair for over five years now, and out of all the brands I have used, Directions is the best.
With a wide range of colours (such as Flamingo Pink to Alpine Green), each one is fantastically bright, vibrant and perfect for helping you stand out from the crowd!
The dye comes in a handy little tub, with a secure lid and is big enough to allow you to fit a tint brush or your fingers in.
Each pot has about 2-4 uses in it, depending of course on how much or how thick you hair is. I have shoulder length and very thick hair, and I usually am able to get two uses out of it.
Depending on the original colour of your hair and what colour you are going, they dye can take on varying levels. I find that, if you have natural darker hair, it is best to bleach you hair first. This means that, whatever colour you choose, you are sure to get the brightest shade possible.
It is important to note that the dye does start to fade after a while (approx 2-3 weeks), though in my experience, this is usually all over and can lead to just a lighter shade of the original colour, which still looks very nice. However, if you use hair straighteners, that can also lighten the colour. For example, if you just straighten your fringe, this will end up being lighter that the rest of your hair.
Usually, the price of one pot of Directions hair dye costs from £3.50-£4.00. For the quality and quantity of dye, I think this is a very generous price, and definitely worth it.
