If you have seen my previous review for the label.m protein spray you will know that label.m is a range of hair care products created by the founders of Toni and Guy. The brand claims to be creative and fashionable and to develop products that are innovative
Their products fall into different categories including cleanse, condition, create and complete. This review is for the Shine Spray, which comes under the complete category.
The Shine Spray is described as taking "hair from lacklustre to luxury with Bamboo, Fig, Echinacea and Juniper. The innovative Enviroshield Complex, exclusive to label.m, protects hair against heat styling and UV rays."
The spray is meant to be used as a final finish to your hairstyle, to add shine and movement to hair. It can also be used on wet hair as a protective spray.
The spray comes in a 125ml sleek black metal bottle with silver writing on it. It has a lid which when removed shows the pump, which is easy to use. The bottle is smaller than the protein spray and fits easily into your hand. When the pump is used the spray comes out in a fine mist which is light and fragrant. You only need to use a couple of pumps for each application.
I tend to use this product only on special occasions when I really want my hair to shine. I think it also helps to flatten any stray frizzy hairs. The best way to use it is to spray it into the air in front of you and then walk into it so the fine mist naturally covers your hair. I find that if I spray it directly onto my hair sometimes too much comes out and then it makes my hair look greasy instead of shiny.
The spray smells lovely and does add an extra sparkle to my hair, which is great for a night out. It makes my hair look really healthy and glowing, and definitely adds extra shine which is lovely.
The spray is expensive at £11.75 for 125ml so I only use it occasionally. Having said that one bottle does seem to last for ages as you only need a couple of sprays each time, and it feels very luxurious so I think it is worth the money.

As I was growing up my Mum always said to me to look nice, you should always make sure your hair and shoes look nice because people always judge you on appearance. I believe she is right. I didn't know anything other than gel hairsray and mouse, until one day my best friend treated me to this now I love the stuff and am always on the look out for other things to buy and try!
The spray is in a black spray can with Lbel.m clearly shown. This product can only be bought from Hairdressers. Mine came from Tony and Guy. They have a website. www.label.m.co.uk If you'd like to take a further look at the other products they sell. The spray bottle contains 125ml. Contains bamboo, fig juniper and echinecea. The spray helps against heat styling and uv rays from the sun.
I am totally hooked to this product now however because of the price costing around £25.00 a bottle I don't use it very often only for special occations in general. It is very good if your hair is looking dull and lifeless like mine has done of late.I was my hair as usual and spray it onto damp hair before I use any heat on it being a hair dryer or straigheners. You can also use it on dry hair after styling to give it that extra shiny glow. When I use it I feel like a celeb walking down the red carpet it is brilliant stuff.
Available from Toni and Guy salons.

For Christmas my mate gave me a £25.00 gift voucher to use in Toni & Guy salons and yes I was delighted of course! I didn't need a hair cut so decided to to use the voucher to buy some top class hair products and so when I and said friend were out shopping I decided to pop in and and get a few bits and pieces to use over Christmas and New Year as I was (and still am going on holiday!).
125ml black cylinder push button can with a matching plastic lid that covers a push button sprayer. On the front in silver writing I'm told it is Label.M Professional Haircare Shine Spray and that it is 125ml in size and then I'm told it is Shine Illuminator with UV shield and the website details for the Label.M company are given (www.labelm.co.uk). On the back of the can I'm told a bit about the product, told how to use it, cautions are listed as are the ingredients and contact details for Mascolo Salons are given and some information is given in foreign languages. It's a nice sleek and stylish looking can and it's informative enough of course!
A Bit About The Product According To The Back Of The Can:
Label.m has been developed for Professional Stylists by a dynamic international artistic & education team, led by Toni & Sacha Mascolo.
Take hair from lacklustre to luxury with Bamboo, Fig, Echinacea and Juniper. The exclusive enviroshield complex protects hair against heat styling and UV rays.
Directions For Use:
After styling, mist hair approx 25-30cm away on wet or dry hair. Spray from middle of head to ends to maintain body.
Me Using It:
Well this spray is incredibly easy to use and me for maximum results I always use it on my finished hair do!
I spray it at arm lengths and out it comes out in a fine damp mist. It doesn't weigh heavy on the hair and what the clear liquid seems to do is coat the hair and drys within seconds but simply adds a little moisturisation to the hair.
It smells wonderful and fresh and is totally unisex in my opinion. It has a light and airy smell with a hint of sweetness to it and that smell lingers on the hair for a good few hours after using it but not in an in your face way.
Yes this stuff is expensive but in it's defence you need to use very little of it, it's easy to use, smells great and beyond that it works amazingly!
It works by giving a glossy look to the hair that doesn't look oily or greasy and although I do suffer with greasy roots from time to time it really doesn't make them worse, even over time!
It makes hair look supple, brighter and above all really super shiny and healthy in a totally natural way.
Like I say it is expensive but really this is the Daddy of all shine sprays and it's totally recommended by me and I will certainly repurchase this time and time again without a doubt in the future!
Available in Toni & Guy salons costing £10.75 a can.
