I was feeling bored, my hair was lack lustre .A little grey. I occasionally dye/colour my hair. I used to use henna on my hair when I was young, but it is not recommended for grey. I had a box of Movida hair colorant in the cupboard so yesterday morning I decided to use it .The colour on the box said Auburn

First I placed an old towel around my shoulders and wet my hair under the shower. I then opened the box connected the 2 bottles one of colorant, one of developer together and shook. I then put on the plastic gloves provided I did not want red hands. I squeezed the colouring on to my hair and massaged in as well as I could I have quite a lot of long hair and did not want it to be patchy. I piled my hair up onto my head. Went down stairs had a cup of coffee 15 minutes later I went back to the bathroom massaged my hair again and then rinsed my hair the water was red then when the water was clear I wrapped my hair in a towel, had a shower. Then I went into the bedroom unwrapped my hair and dried it with a hairdryer Well I looked in the mirror and instead of a mousy brown with greying hair I SAW???? Ahead of dull red / auburn hair it had covered my grey bits a fairly good even colour but it is a bit lack lustre /flat colour its ok but not brilliant. I expect it will look better after a wash. I might try a different manufacturers hair colour next time. The information says it should last 6 weeks my hair feels fairly soft my skin was not irritated it was straightforward easy to use.
Movida is made by laboratoire Garnier comes in colours from blonde through brown into red and plum and black.

Dearly beloved must be bored too he read my opp and corrected it .(it?s the teacher in him) I duly corrected and posted it. He says my hair looks better but not natural coloured. He said I should have done the strand test the instructions suggest. Of course he is always right.
