Advantages: Initially Pleasant Smell, Long-Lasting Hold, Works On Thin Hair, Easy To Use

Disadvantages: Sickening Smell After A While, Not For Thicker Hair, Too Wet?

I used this hair gel a while ago but gave up on it, as it didn't suit my hair. It comes in a 150ml plastic tube, which is translucent and green. On the front is the Garnier logo and it has a purple colour to signify the 'Hard' variety to give rock hard hair. The tube has a darker green cap, which flicks open easily so you can squeeze out the gel.

The gel is soft and wet, so gives your hair a wet look. However, the gel turns very hard within 15 minutes or so and will give your hair a long-lasting hold throughout the day. The problem I found with the gel is that because it's so wet and heavy, it actually is harder to stick up your hair and by the time it hardens, my hair fell back down again.

The hair gel has a really nice aroma, which will be quite predominant throughout the day. It sells very light and fruity but somewhat sickening when you keep using it. You can buy the 150ml tube for around £2.20 at Tesco and it should last a long time if you use it to spike up hair, as you need barely any.

It does a good job and gives your hair a sticky texture to play with, but it's not good for thicker hair as your hair will just flop back down. It works best with thin hair and you only need a tiny bit. You should apply a bit more if needed as it quickly becomes dry on your hands and in your hair if you have dry hair. I would recommend trying it out if you have thin hair and want to style it and give it a long-lasting hold!

Thanks for reading,

Dan ©

Summary: A good hair gel for thin hair to give it a long-lasting hold
