Advantages: it actually works!, it doesn't make your hair a weird texture, it keeps your hair sleek even in slightly moist conditions

Disadvantages: only available from specialist shops and hair salons, a bit expensive, it could smell nicer?

Having really horrible, slightly curly/bendy but mainly frizzy hair, I have been a keen user of hair 'sleeking' and curl relaxing products for years. I've tried most of what's on the market, as well as specialist hair straightener products available only from hair salons. Most of them do work - to some degree or another, but nothing works like L'anza's Strait Line Formula Temporary Curl Relaxer & Smoother.

It doesn't make your hair greasy or heavy, nor does it remove/reduce shine or natural soft hair 'feel' like many other products. You just apply to wet hair after washing, then blowdry smooth with large brush. The straight hair lasts after sleeping on it and will also withstand slightly damp conditions without going frizzy/curly.

In the same range there is also Curl Relaxing shampoo and conditioner which are good also, but it works fine on it's own after using any other shampoo and conditioner.

The only slight drawback, and it's only a very minor point, is that I'm not too keen on it's fragrance.

I haven't seen it generally available in any shops, I bought mine from a hair salon in Cambridge Grafton Centre. It was on special offer at the time together with the shampoo and conditioner and cost approx. £17.
