Lavera is a company which makes beauty products that are completely natural with no nasty hidden extras. Their creations are suitable for people with sensitive skin and made using only pure and natural ingredients including organic plant oils, herbs, fruit and flower extracts.
There are no parabens lurking in their formulas and no synthetic preservatives. Their creations are free from artificial fragrances and colouring so any aroma that you smell and any colour that you see will be completely natural. Lavera never test their products on animals.
One of their delicious creations is the Mango Milk conditioner and it is suitable for vegans to use too. It is specifically designed for people with colour treated hair and promises to prolong the life of your colour while protecting it from the elements. Lavera claims this product will nourish the hair, leaving it with a healthy shine.
How does it work? The conditioner is made using a peculiar group of ingredients that seem better suited to a body butter. It contains Mango Milk and other plant based milks which give the hair its shine and freshly fruity fragrance.
There is Shea Butter in the conditioner which moistures dry and damaged hair from root to tip. The butter is enriched with Vitamins A and E which enables it to nourish hair and to repair breakages and split ends. It also moisturises the scalp and protects the hair from a variety of weather elements including radiation from the sun. Shea Butter will restore your coloured hair with its moisture and vitality.
The Cocoa butter in the formula works in a similar way to the Shea Butter and helps to detangle coarse hair. It performs a nourishing treatment for the hair and moisturises dry hair leaving it soft and shiny.
The conditioner is enriched with organic oils too. The Jojoba Oil offers a highly effective conditioning effect on the hair. It nourishes the hair from root to tip and also nourishes the scalp. It is a non greasy substance which prevents hair from becoming dry and brittle and it stimulates the development of new hair cells.
The Avocado Oil is packed full of vitamins, nutrients and proteins. It is highly moisturising. The Soy Bean oil penetrates the strands of your hair deeply giving it an intense nourishment. It also contains vitamins and nutrients and will leave you hair more manageable. The protein in the oil strengthens and protects your hair, meaning less breakages and split ends.
The conditioner also contains Wheat Protein which gives the hair back its elasticity and stops it from snapping. It strengthens and thickens the hair while improving its body and shine. And finally, the conditioner contains Vitamin B5 which coats each strand in a protective film and seals in the moisture, preventing it from becoming dry.
You use this product in the same way that you would use your normal conditioner. After shampooing the hair, apply the conditioner to damp hair and massage in the formula paying careful attention to the scalp. After a few minutes, rinse the hair thoroughly and then dry and style as normal.
The product comes in an olive green tube which stands on its lid. This is useful when the product is running out. To use the conditioner, it has a lid which clicks open and shut. It costs around £7 for 150ml so it is fairly expensive. You can buy the conditioner from many online websites. If you like this product, then also available is the Mango Milk Shampoo and the Mango Treatment Milk which provides a weekly intensive treatment for the hair.
This product is amazing if you have very dry and coarse hair. If you have fine to normal hair then this conditioner will be too heavy and leave your hair looking greasy. It doesn't strip the colour of your hair and enables it to last longer. The conditioner smells deliciously sweet and coats your hair easily. As the formula contains natural ingredients after some time, the ingredients start to expire so don't hang onto it for months and months!
All in all, this is a handy conditioner for taming the most dry and unruliest of hairs. You hair will be left soft, shiny and nourished after one use and you can rest peacefully in the knowledge that it is all completely natural.
