Advantages: Smells great! Makes your hair shiny and new
Disadvantages: Does nothing for my split ends.
The following acts of torture have been committed by me against my hair: Bleaching, dying, redying, brushing when wet, straighteners, hair driers, swimming and using cheap shampoo. As a result there are times when my hair screams out and lies flat and looks very unhealthy. Well this is what it used to do before I discovered Lee Stafford's Hair rehab.
*Packaging*
This is what first attracted me to it. I was shopping in the upmarket hair section of boots, the only place to stock it, and my eyes naturally were drawn towards a bright pink 200ml tub, which had a multi-coloured barcode.
It does look very cool and much more vivid then the picture shows.
*What was it*
A leave in conditioner that you use occasionally.
*The promise?*
Taken from http://www.leestafford.com/uk/ products/product.php?pi=90
"his quenching, drenching, luxurious moisturising conditioner will rehydrate hair that's dying of thirst and breathe life back into partied out locks.
Perfect for making your hair soft and manageable, it moisturises, refreshes and revitalises your hair leaving it gently fragranced.
The hydrolysed silk extract creates strong hair to help fight off breakages and split ends! I've even added some extra conditioning agents to help prevent combing damage and reduce wet detangling times."
*How to use it?*
Simple. after shampooing just place a small ping pong size glob into your hair and massage in like you would with any conditioner. Then stand in the shower (or you can get out) for 3-5 minutes then rinse.
*Ease of use*
So simple.
*Smell*
Divine. It is a very sweet and honey smell like nothing I've smelt before and its great as not only does it make your bathroom smell fabulous, but the smell stays in your hair for about 12-18 hours.
*Feel*
Just like a thick conditioner.
*Does it live up to it's promise?*
-Shine/Life of hair then yes my hair is shinier and has a bounce back, it's not lank anymore.
-De-tangling? Yes. I never have to brush my hair after using this (I have thick shoulder length hair).
- Strengthening? No. I am prone to split ends and those pesky flyaways and it doesn't appear to help one bit.
*Top Tips*
Coming back off holiday I had swam each day and hadn't given my hair any attention and it was all strawish and matty. So I came home and left the conditioner on for 30 minutes. Then my hair was back to normal. I would also recommend you do this just after bleaching your hair to white.
*About my rating*
It lost a star for not stopping split ends.
Summary: If you put your hair through a lot of stress then get a good conditioner.
