Who needs humidity? Not moi! (Lee Stafford Humidity Spray)

During a recent shopping trip I came across this Lee Stafford Humidity Spray. It's a product I've never heard of and therefore never considered buying or using but it was on offer to try at 59p in a cheap shop in my city centre and being a huge fan of Lee Stafford products and knowing the prices usually I know I was grabbing a bargain and it probably would fulfill all it's promises!

So just to clarify the product I'm reviewing is Lee Stafford RU Taking Protection From Humidity Spray?

The Packaging....

75ml recyclable aerosol long canister. Purple in colour with silver and bright pink writing on it. On the front I'm told what it is and who it is by and tells me 'Protection is better than cure' and that 'humidity sends your hair frizzy and no one likes that'. On the back I'm told how to use, contact details for Lee Stafford, ingredients and cautions and stuff I don't understand in foreign languages! To spray you push down the bright pink button at the top and over that is a light pink safety cap. All in all great funky looking packaging!

To Use....

'Spray all over dry hair from about half an arms length to give you magical protection from frizz. Re-apply throughout the day or night to keep your hair beautifully frizz free'.

My Experience....

My hair is usually straightened. It has to be and one of the problems I find is that my hair can still, after being straightened can appear a little fluffy and as the day wears on frizz can spring up all over the place. I know that part of the problem is humidity. Going from warm a house to out in the cold walking my Yorkie and back in and stuff. Nights out can be difficult cos you leave the house to get bus or whatever and sometimes have to stand about and then you get wind swept and then need to restyle with fingers in pub/club toilets and it gets hotter in places as night moves along and my hair really reacts badly to such treatment.

The nice thing about this spray is that it isn't huge and bulky. It's slim and looks nice. I wouldn't take it clubbing but would be quite happy to take it out with me anywhere else in my handbag. It isn't heavy but is very light.

Now I use this as directed on 'finished' hair as and when needed. It goes over the top of other products such as hair spray and stuff no matter how strong the products you have used is, it penetrates it's way through them. It comes out as spray but is very light and is a mist. It doesn't drench your hair and actually feels very dry upon application.

The smell is gorgeous, strong very deeply floral as are all the Lee Stafford products. Its one of the reasons I love the stuff so much. To me it is a very feminine smell and wouldn't think many fellas would want to smell of this stuff!

So I spray it all over my hair as I said as and when required and I find this so good that I only need it once and I don't need to keep reapplying it which means my hair isn't getting overloaded and heavy with too many products.

The Results....

It's fabulous. Easy to use, smells nice but above all it really tames any frizz you may have. I personally spray it on and then gently rub my hands down my hair to 'spread it and smooth'. Its like a frizz buster in a can and is an emergency fix but not only that it stops more appearing.

The smell lasts hours and not only that it gives amazing shine and if you wished you could use this as a spray shine. Not only does it does it achieve all that all but hair feels like you've sprayed it with a really good leave in conditioner so not only does it make hair look great it feels it too!

Now I can suffer with greasy roots and dry ends but this is very clever indeed. It doesn't make my roots greasy but does hydrate my ends really well and helps to 'sharpen' my style!

In Conclusion....

A product that I didn't think I needed and couldn't see the benefit of and only bought cos it was cheap but now I've learnt the error of my ways and this is a life saver!

Highly recommended for someone with longer hair like mine whether it be straight or curly and I think it's probably suitable for all hair types! A really good 'wonder' product!

This is sold in Boot's but I can't find a price for it. It is also available to purchase on line from the Lee Stafford website and other discount online stores.

Summary: A brilliant product for hair!
