I've been using a few of the Lee Stafford range of products recently as they have been on sale in Superdrug (three for the price of two) and so I stocked up. I had used a few Lee Stafford products about a year ago and I was suitably impressed so had no hesitation, really in trying out one of his new products, specifically designed to add volume and bounce to my hair.
My hair is long and on the thin side and could really do with some added volume and I am always on the look out for products that will to make my hair look fuller and healthier. I paid £5.99 for this rather squat and chucky looking plastic pink tube and I also bought two tubes of shampoo at the same time, from the same range.
I like the look and design of this bottle of Lee Stafford My Big Fat Healthy Hair Conditioner. It stands on it's head and has a flip top lid which is relatively easy to flip back, even with wet hands in the shower. The conditioner itself is white in colour, medium consistency but I hate the smell. It smells slightly plastic to me, as though you've left something standing in front of a fire for too long. The smell doesn't last once it's been rinsed out of the hair, thankfully, and it's definitely at it's worst when it's freshly squeezed from its tube.
I wouldn't say that this conditioner adds any noticeable volume to my hair at all - even when I use it in conjunction with the My Big Fat Healthy Hair Shampoo. It does make my hair feel soft and smooth and it detangles well, but then again a lot of conditioners do this anyway, and cost considerably less money, into the bargain.
I cannot say I have been overly impressed with the Big Fat Healthy Hair range of products so far but as I have bought them, then I still intend to use them. Each tube is rather large, however, at 250ml, so it's going to take me a little while to work my way through this lot.
In summary, it's a perfectly fine conditioner but it certainly adds no volume to my hair at all and I also think it's over priced. Plus, it stinks!
Today I am going to tell you all about the Big Fat Healthy Hair conditioner by Lee Stafford!
I've been a huge fan of Lee Stafford products for years. When this conditioner came out and I first saw it, I was immediately interested. I love having big, fluffy hair and if there's a conditioner to enhance that, it has to be mine!
I bought the shampoo a while ago but the conditioner was sold out back then, but when the christmas packages were on sale, I finally got both the shampoo and the conditioner!
The conditioner comes in a pink bottle that stands on its cap. The bottle is a little see-through so you can see the product inside. In the usual Lee Stafford style the product name and logos are in big, crazy writing to make the bottle look unique! It is also stated that the conditioner contains a "Pro-Volume Complex" that is supposed to make your hair look and feel bigger and thicker!
There's some more pink writing on the lower part of the bottle where it is said that the conditioner will give your hair a boost. Your hair should no longer be limp and have more shine! On the back of the bottle there is even more information given about the product. It is said that the conditioner contais nourishing ingredients and panthenol to satisfy thirsty hair. There are also some tips for styling your hair on the bottle.
Of course the ingredients are listed on the bottle as well. It contains 250ml!
This conditioner satisfied me just as much as the Big Fat Healthy Hair shampoo!
The conditioner is white and creamy. It's easy to get out of the bottle and it's also easy to spread in your hair! Washing it out causes no problems either!
The product's scent is the usual Lee Stafford scent. It reminds me a little of playdough, but it's also sweet. I love it!
The conditioner's effect on my hair was fabulous! My hair felt so much better right after the first use. The conditioner provides a lot of moisture and really gives the hair more volume and texture. It feels softer and looks healthier! It's so much fluffier and fuller without being weighed down by the conditioner.
I'd especially recommend this conditioner to people who have very dry or limp hair or colour their hair a lot!
The bottle lasted me quite a while! You don't need too much of it at once, even if you have very long hair like me!
My skin and hair didn't show any bad reactions, but of course allergics and very sensitive people should check the ingredients before buying!

I loved this and will buy it again! This conditioner really provides a lot of moisture and makes your hair look healthier and bigger!
I've been using this Lee Stafford My Big Fat Healthy Hair Conditioner, along with the matching shampoo, on and off for probably a couple of years now. It's one I keep going back to when my hair is in particular need of a boost. It is on the expensive side at £5.99 for a 250ml bottle, but I usually pick it up when there's a 3 for 2 or similar offer across the range.
The packaging is nice, it's a large plastic squeezy tube which stands on it's lid. Parts of the tube are opaque but parts are transparent so you are easily able to see when it's running out. It has a flip top lid which makes it easy and convenient to use in the shower. I really like the design of the Lee Stafford range, it's quite fresh and funky looking with lots of bright pink.
The conditioner is fairly thin in consistency but it has quite a creamy, smooth texture which makes it feel thicker than it looks. I find it is very easy to massage through my hair and only a small amount is needed. It has a very strong chemical scent which I find quite unpleasant, but it's not as strong as in the shampoo and it's not bad enough to stop me from using it. It takes a little while longer than some to rinse out but it's not long enough to be a problem.
After using this conditioner (along with the matching shampoo) I find my hair always feels really smooth and looks healthy and shiny. Whilst I don't think the conditioner gives my hair extra volume itself, it doesn't detract from the volume the shampoo gives me, which is something I find most conditioners do. It doesn't weigh my hair down or leave it greasy and as a result my hair is left looking fuller and thicker with more body and bounce.
All in all I think this is a great conditioner that I keep going back to again and again. I'd definitely recommend this and the matching shampoo to anyone with fine hair in need of a boost.
