Lee Stafford...I always think of that Celebrity Scissorhands programme and that Steve Strange bloke performing dodgy haircuts. Perhaps that is why I tend to avoid Lee's products! Whether or not he actually designed this or just put his name to it, I do not know. The Stafford range is mid priced. You won't pay as much as S Factor, but you will pay more than Pantene and Tresemme.
You can usually spot it a mile off, as most of the products are brightly coloured, with pinks and purples. One of my biggest hair issues is keeping the frizz at bay and taming those straggly split ends. Moisture and damp conditions and humidity in general can play havoc with my hair, so I am forever exploring new products to keep it looking sleek and smooth.
The Poker Straight Dehumidifier is a product that would be ideal for use on holiday or if you're about to work up a sweat in a nightclub. Designed for use after styling, you simply apply to dry hair and spritz all over in short sharp bursts. The spray comes out with a pleasant tangy fruitiness which I quite liked as it made the bedroom smell like a salon!
Does it work though? Well, it did help prolong my sheen and straightness after a long night out (three in the morning) and there was less humidity damage to the fringe, which pleased me. he only thing I am dubious about is whether it is an essential buy. You can tame frizz with a good straighten and a heat protector, so this could be seen as just an aesthetic add on. Mind you, if you go abroad lots in heat, then I can see it being very handy. For UK use though, perhaps not quite so essential. Expect to pay about five quid for a bottle.
Summary: not bad
