Given the frizzy nature of my hair, holidaying abroad in what are sometimes damp, humid places at night time if near the sea etc, fills me with dread for battling night after night with the frizz!

I got this quite some time ago with a couple of the other items in the range bundled together in a gift pack and have only recently taken it away to sunnier climes with me.

- Price and Packaging -
This comes in a bright pink can with a transparent pink lid covering the push down nozzle from where the spray is dispensed.

- So what is it? -
It promises to be a solution to frizzy locks when they are faced with humidity,keeping your hair poker straight when hunidity wants it to frizz! It says that it offers 'a perfect umbrella from frizz'.'.

It is also worth noting that Lee Stafford products are not tested on animals.

- How to use it-
It's suggested that you spray this fine mist half an arms length all over your hair.

- My Experience -
This is a very fine mist which I would suggest you use in a large open space as the smell and the mist is quite overpowering when first applied. The smell of it does linger on your hair for a while after using it but I wasn't averse to this if it indeed kept the frizz away.

I have incredibly unruly, unsightly frizzy hair and as stated earlier dread nights out in humid environments as no matter how much effort I have put in to straightening and trying to calm the mane it gets progressively worse as the night progresses.

When I first started using this I dried and straightened by hair and only then sprayed the product over my hair. The results it has to be said weren't great by the end of the night so on a second attempt, not one to give up on trying to calm the frizz, I dried, straightened and then sprayed this over my hair section by section. There was an improvement in the results and the efficiency of this product using this method although it was quite an arduous task.

The spray is lke a very fine mist and doesn't leave my hair sticky after using it. I could run my fingers through my hair without them getting stuck in clogged together sections which sometimes happens with other sprays. It doesn't make my hair damp so no waiting around for it to dry.

- Overall-
If I used the method described above, spraying section by section after straightening this spray did actually help my hair retain what little straightness that I had achieved before using it on most nights. However on a couple of occasions, the humidity and sea wind and fret were so strong, this was no match and the frizz won, leaving me no option but to tie my hair up and accept the unruly mane!

Depending on the level of frizz you have this obviously has different succees rates. Those with only a slight frizz could probably manage with one quick spray of this over your hair, making the bottle last longer. Anyone with very frizzy hair such as mine would be guided towards the sectioning spraying technique for best results but don't expect a miracle as nature and the elements often win.
