Advantages: Lovely coloured bottle.

Disadvantages: Smells too artificial and doesn't help hair condition.

Like so many others I think I am in love with my staighteners. For the first time in my life my hair can now be brought under control and look as if I have at least made an effort. I probably straighten my hair every day so knew I should be using products that have some heat protection. I have used other products that I have been happy with but like most I always think there may be something better on the market so often try new things.

My attention was caught by the bright fuscia pink bottle which looks lovely and girly. I had heard of the Lee Stafford name so was happy to give it a try. At £4.98 in Boots it was a similar price to the other premium haircare ranges that they sell. It says it contains Green Tea to help protect the hair. However when I got it home I realised it has a high denatured alcohol contenet which may account for its very chemical smell.

To use-- You are supposed to spray it on toweldry hair before styling and then reapply to sections of dry hair before straightening. I found the smell very off-putting as it reminded me of cheap hairspray. The aroma lingers
long after you have finished styling.

Results- i have been very disappointed with the product. My hair stayed relatively straight but I think my hair feels dryer since using it and certainly not particularly shiny. I would also say my hair appears to have suffered more damage than with other products although it may not be as bad as it would be with no product. I have now almost finished the bottle as I share it with my daughter who is also not overly impressed and I will not be buying it again.

Summary: In a market with lots of competition I would chose smothing else.

I used this a few years ago and found it useless. I have really curly hair and it made my hair brittle xx

I personally love this stuff and don't mind the smell, and I know others feel the same. Yet my friend hates this stuff, so I suppose it's a love/hate thing! Good review.
