When it comes to my hair I can't say that I consider at all what I am doing to it as long as it looks clean and straight im happy. I use GHD straightening irons at least once a day sometimes twice a day if im going out in the evening so thought it would be wise to invest in some heat protection spray. During my childhood id never been massively into styling products so had no idea what I was really looking for, upon entering a boots store you could imagine my confusion seeing all of these different products non of which I had any idea about, where would I start?
After browsing through some products feeling none the wiser I asked an assistant which she would recommend and she showed me this lovely girlie pink bottle of lee Stafford poker straight spray and taking her advice I purchased it for around £4.98 for 200 ml and I can honestly say it was worth the money.

Lee Stafford won men's British hairdresser of the year award in 1998, he has made appearances in many other award finals for his hair dressing and jumped at the chance when offered of creating his own hair product range.

The lee Stafford poker straight flat iron protection shine mist comes in a very eye catching girlie pink bottle with white writing, It has Lee's top tips for how to use the spray on the back with the products contents and what they are used for/ what it protects against underneath. The spray claims that it contains antioxidant green tea which helps protect against environmental and heat damage, this was great for me as I only bought the product for the heat protection part so this clearly shows that it is perfect for the use I required it for. Everything is written in an idiots guide way which was perfect for me not having any previous knowledge on these products it told me exactly what I wanted to know in a short and simple paragraph which I wish more products did.

The spray comes out in a light mist with a pleasant feminine perfume smell which is a great alternative to the smell of singed hair I had before purchasing the product. The press action required to apply the mist is very easy to use which I have found some alternative products don't have. The product seems to last as I don't need to use too much for it to work.
Another plus for this product is that it doesn't leave your hair sticky or greasy a lot of products out there do not seem to agree with my hair and the outcome is far from glamorous, instead this product leaves my hair light and shiny. To apply before blow drying your hair you hold at arms length and spray into towel dried hair and before straightening you hold at half an arms length and apply to individual section of hair as you go which is all explained in simple terms on the reverse of the bottle.

Over all I would rate this product as a heat protector even my hairdresser noticed a difference in the condition of my hair (for the better) my hair seems to stay straight but as it is not overly curly more wavy and static I would not be able to give a fair opinion on how good this product is for this use, as I said the smell is quite strong and perfume like so if you are sensitive to this kind of scent I would not recommend this product as the smell stays with you most of the day.

Other products available in the range are leave in conditioners, anti ageing hair treatments, anti dandruff shampoo, styling creams, accessories and more so he developed quite a range.
