A treatment for dry and damaged hair that really does work!

With all the lightening and dying my hair has gone through recently to take my dark shade of red up to platinum blonde it's been feeling rather dry, damaged and just in bad condition really. I've tried many products recently with the hope of repairing it with not much success meaning I've ended up chopping a lot of it off! Typically, after doing so I discovered the product which actually works for dry hair. Namely this Leo Bancroft Sensationally Smooth Conditioner. The Leo Bancroft hair care range is exclusive to Tesco and includes a range of shampoos and conditioners for different hair types as well as a number of different styling products. This 250ml bottle of conditioner will cost you £4 although I bought mine on a recent three for £8 offer. The conditioner comes in a purple bottle which stands upside down plastic flip top lid. On the front of the bottle is the Leo Bancroft logo, product name and short details. This conditioner is described as a moisturising one which is for 'dry hair that's feeling neglected'. It sounded like just what I needed plus the purple bottle really caught my eye on the shelves in Tesco so I ended up purchasing a bottle along with the matching shampoo. The conditioner is thick and white; it's easy to dispense the required amount and smells rather nice. The scent isn't really anything recognisable but just reminds me of the expensive stuff used in salons which is a nice touch! On top of that the scent lasts in the hair for ages too, as it's quite pleasant and reminds me of a pricey salon trip that's a welcomed extra in my book! As my hair is feeling quite damaged at the moment I'm really caking it in conditioner although to cover my just above shoulder length and quite fine hair I really probably only need a walnut sized blob. This combs through the hair wonderfully and allows me to easily comb out any knots and tangles without tugging or hurting. It rinses off really easily too and isn't too heavy so it doesn't leave my hair feeling weighed down or filled with residue. The moment I wash this conditioner off I can feel how soft it has made my hair and it just feel lovely instantly. I've been using this conditioner along with the matching shampoo and the difference in the condition of hair since using these products is pretty impressive. The first time I washed my hair there were noticeable results in regards to how dry my hair looked and with continued use over the last couple of weeks there's a dramatic difference. My hair is much less brittle now, before brushing hair caused a scary amount of it to break off and now it hardly breaks at all. Split ends have pretty much disappeared and my hair is no longer looking thirsty. Not only does the conditioner offer excellent results after washing the effects have definitely proven to be long term. With this conditioner you get the lovely just washed softness you expect from such a product with a long lasting moisture boost and long term improvement of the condition of the hair. In short, if you have damaged and/or dry hair then this is what you need!
