I've been using this product now for nearly a week and I must say this conditioner is superb! Admittedly, my hair isn't particular fussy about what goes on it, it's pretty versatile, but I don't think i've come across a conditioner that smells so good and makes my hair look and feel so healthy and shiny.

I bought this conditioner along with the 'I Love Juicy' shampoo. I have written a review about the shampoo already so now i'm going to write a review about the conditioner.

THE PRODUCT
------
This a double strength conditioner, but don't immediately assume it's for really dry hair. My hair has always been sleek, but this conditioner works wonders on it and doesn't leave it looking or feeling greasy.

It contains Honey Water which helps to reduce static and keep your hair calm, the oranges and strawberries make your hair looking glossy, and a touch of clary sage, benzoin and lavender leave your scalp at it's best.

Honey Water (Mel, Aqua), Vanilla Pod Infusion (Vanilla planifolia), Propylene Glycol, Fresh Oranges (Citrus dulcis), Cetearyl Alcohol (&) Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Fresh Strawberries (Fragaria vesca), Perfume, Lanolin, Cetrimonium Bromide, Cetearyl Alcohol, Vanilla Absolute (Vanilla planifolia), Clary Sage Oil (Salvia sclarea), Lavender Oil (Lavandula hybrida), Benzoin Resinoid (Styrax benzoin), *Linalool, Coumarin.

* Occurs naturally in essential oils

PACKAGING
------
This conditioner comes in a clear plastic bottle so you can see the product itself. It has a black flip top lid and a black label around the middle of the bottle telling you the product name, the ingredients, a short description of the product and a little sticker telling you who made the product, when, and when it'll expire. It's very clear to read and the black labels are distinctive LUSH procucts.

WHAT DOES IT SMELL LIKE?

This is probably one of the most interesting smells i've ever smelt! No, really, it smells like you could drink the bottle! It's like a vanilla milkshake at first, but then a whole load of other smells just burst out once it's on your hair, such as honey, orange and lavender.

If you think Herbal Essences smells nice and makes you go 'mmmmmmm' when you're in the shower...believe me, this conditioner makes Herbal Essences smells of nothing...it's so strong, but not in an over-powering way.

WHATS THE TEXTURE LIKE?

It's quite a thick texture, but not as thick as the likes of Pantene. I needed to use quite abit...about the size of a 10 pence piece, maybe a 50 pence piece. Now, this is where it got a little weird for me. With most conditioners, you can feel it when you start to massge it through your hair, but with this one, you can't feel it at all, and it makes you think you need to put more on, but you really don't. It is working. I left it on for 1 or 2 minutes, as I do with most condtioners, and then rinsed thoroughly.

*TIP*
To get the best of my conditioner, a little secret I learnt about 4 years ago...rinse your hair with cool water. It doesn't necessarily make it look shiner, but it closes the scales, known as the cuticle, that the hair shaft has on it's surface. It can also stop your hair from getting greasy throught the day. :)

WHATS YOUR HAIR LIKE ONCE YOU'VE DRIED/STYLED IT?

I don't tend to 'style' my hair...it's half way down my back and it's naturally straight...people style their hair straight, i'm lucky, i don't have too...all i need to do is dry my hair with my hairdryer. Already I can see that my hair just looks better than usual. Once I've finished drying my hair, I stand under my bedroom light to have a look at the condition of it, and it looks amazing...If I fling my hair about like those cheesy hair colour adverts, it just shines and moves so freely...and wafts a lovely smell across my nose.

WHATS IT LIKE AFTERWARDS?

I've tried countless number of conditioners and found some good ones, okay ones, and just plain crap ones in my time. The real test for most is the day after you have washed your hair. Some conditioners can leave your hair feeling, cloggy and greasy and looking dull and lifeless. However, with this conditioner, I found that my hair was continuously soft, not greasy and looked like I had just washed it! It is an absolute god send for your hair.

I must tell you about the smell of your hair the day you wash it. It is divine, it lingers throughout the whole day almost, and I was constantly being told how nice my hair smelt.

Even the day after you have washed your hair, it still smells nice, not as strong, but it is still quite obvious.

I used this conditioner with the 'I Love Juicy' shampoo and both smells are easily recogniseable when I smell my hair.

HOW MUCH CAN I EXPECT TO PAY FOR THIS PRODUCT?
------
I paid £3.25 + £3.95 for delivery from the LUSH website for a small 100g bottle. Yes, this is quite expensive, i know some people would not be able to justify spending this much on a conditioner, but really when you think about how this product is made (completely hand made - not tested on animals, freshest natual ingredients) it's just so unique compared to the shampoos you buy in supermarkets.

OVERALL OPINION
------
I bought the 100g bottle and it doesn't look as thought I have used any...i can see this lasting me quite a long time. I will definately be buying a bigger version of this bottle once my 100g bottle has run out. I recommend you try this, no matter what your hair type is...it truly is a wonderful conditioner, especisally when combined with a LUSH shampoo.

Summary: A great conditioner for all hair types.
