A few months back I entered the Lush shop for the very first time, shocking I know. I'd smelt it many a time but the boyfriend had done his best to keep me away. However, I'd seen my friend looking fantastically glittery on a night out a few days before and she informed me it was courtesy of a Glitterbug from Lush, so off I went on my quest and ended up coming out with both, and absolutely loving them. Since then, I've been a sort of Lush addict, without actually buying anything else! I've been reading review upon review, lusting after the day which I will try these products. It's hard because I hardly ever have any spare money and it's hard to sneak into Lush ... Read the complete review

After trying The Body Shops awful excuse for a shampoo (nettle oil balance also reviewed) I decided to turn to Lush for a new shampoo in the hope that it would completely out do the experience I had just had. As always I looked through all the products on their website before sending my poor other half off with a list of the things I would like him to buy and the money of course. While deciding upon the shampoo to try, I looked at all the variants Lush make. Solid shampoo bars, they sound great but with my long hair I think it might be a little too easy to miss patches of hair and that would just look silly. Solid shampoo, which is like soap, unfortunately I ... Read the complete review

I use Big in conjunction with Jumping Juniper,Veganese and Coolaulin and my hair has never looked better. At first,I only used Big but my hair was reacting quite badly to such strong treatment every day (Big has sea-salt in it,so can be quite scrubby and harsh on hair if used too often!). Now,I use it every week or so to add a bit of bounce, volume and a bit of the sea-side to my head. BIG looks like...rice pudding,is the closest thing I can think of. When I first got a sample of this in Lush,I was dubious... I took it home, ran a bath... Once I put this on my wet hair,I was in love. As you lather it up and rub it in it ... Read the complete review

Big is one of Lush's less conventional shampoos, owing to its rather unusual texture and consistency. It comes in a Lush trademark black pot - when you see the product you realise why a bottle would be unpractical. If you own any other Lush products, you will know that the black pots neatly stack one on top of another, making the products neat and easy to store, and well as creating a certain consistency to your bathroom cabinet items. Plus, when you have 5 empty black pots (and lids) you can return them to a Lush store and get a free fresh face mask. Bonus! The actual shampoo is a white, rock salt encrusted liquid - and before you go "eugh" let me ... Read the complete review

Despite my rather off putting experience with Rehab Shampoo I was still not deterred to find a shampoo from Lush that would really help my hair! The last time I was in Lush, I just had to try Big shampoo and I'm glad I did because it's made an incredible improvement to the condition of my hair. My hair is now shoulder length and straight although it's naturally wavy. Sometimes especially during the winter it can go a bit flat and the shine disappears. So as soon as I read up on Big I was immediately excited to try it - and the fact that it has 50% of sea salt quite intrigued me! Lush's Big Shampoo brings you the promise of shiny, voluminous hair, and it ... Read the complete review
