Advantages: Great pot size, recyclable, cleans my hair well, good price, I love Lush!

Disadvantages: None

Lush CurlyWurlyGirly is specifically designed for helping to tame curly hair and this is exactly what it does! Firstly, let me explain my hair! I have wavy hair that can be made curly with a little work or straight with some hot straighteners, it can be very frustrating at times that it takes work to achieve either of the 'main' styles.

This product is provided in a black screw lid pot which is fully recyclable and if you collect five of these pots you can take it back to a Lush store and receive a free fresh face mask for your trouble.

Once I opened the pot I was met by a smell of coconut and vanilla and this really is quite a tropical scented product that almost looks like mashed up tropical fruits, it is described on the website as looking like rice pudding and I guess it does, just coloured rice pudding! It is quite an interesting texture but just grab a small blob on your hands and then run it all over wet hair. It does not produce an excess of lather but just enough to reach all parts of my hair without having to use half a pot. I found a 50p sized dollop to be just enough and I have bra-strap length hair.

I don't use this every time I wash my hair, preferring to use it weekly or so as a weekend treat and it really does feel lovely and luxurious. The shampoo feels delightful and leaves my hair lovely, shiny & smooth. It does give my curls increased bounce and gets rid of all the frizzy, flyaway ends that I suffer from quite badly.

A 220g pot is available from Lush stores or at www.lush.co.uk for £8.07 and because I only use this occasionally it lasts me for quite a few months. I love this shampoo and would thoroughly recommend it, for this reason I am rating it 4/5 and have knocked off one star because the texture of it makes me cringe a little when I pick it out.

Summary: A fantastic pot of shampoo to help curls to look immaculate.
