Advantages: Keeps hair where it should

Disadvantages: The smell

Goth Juice is Lush's medium hold hair gel. It is a bright purpley pink colour and it smells kinda funky!!!

As I fell in love with King of the Mods gel I only got a tester pot of this and I am glad I did. It smells a bit citrusy with this underlying musky odour I just can't put my finger on, I really didn't like it!

I decided to use this when I had my hair up, I combed it through then put my hair in a high pony tail then rubbed a little more on top and in the tail to keep it as smooth as possible.

I have to say it worked really well my hair stayed where it was supposed to nearly all day, it looked shiny and healthy too.

When I took my band out my hair felt a bit hard so I gave it a good brush through and most of the gel came out. This doesn't feel sticky when you put it on so I imagine that is why it brushes out so well.

All that aside the smell really did get me down it made my head feel heavy as it is really kind of musky and for me it was way too overbearing.

It does it's job well but you would have to really like the smell to be able to use this on a regular basis.

Summary: Smells really funky!
