Advantages: fresh, natural and makes your hair soft

Disadvantages: very strong smelling

I bought this hair treatment as I was in need of a new one and due to my love of Lush felt that I really should give one of theres a bash! This hair moisturiser costs £7.10 and one pot unfortuantely will not last you long at all. Maybe three washes I would say, although that obviously depends on how much you use and the length of your hair. My hair is shoulder length almost and the label on the pot does say to put loads on which is how I came to by my reckoning of 3 washes.

The smell of the moisturiser is very spicey and quite strong so it is well worth sniffing before you buy! The main scent I would say is the cinammon and bay ingredients. However the main moisutrising ingredients are the avocado which is meant to be very nutritious and softening for your hair, balsamic vinegar to give shine and watercress to improve hair strength.

Now in regards to how you apply this it is slightly different to your average hair mask as you apply it to dry hair before you shower. Once it is on your hair it should be kept on for 20 minutes. To apply it, it feels lovely and thick and creamy and even once it has been washed out of your hair and you have shampooed, conditioned then blow dryed you can still spell that spicey scent!

So does it work? Well I would say my hair feels softer and cleaner than usual but other than that I'm npot really convinced. The other slight negative about this product is the expiry date which was less than a month from purchase, although I suppose when you use so much of it, that is not a real problem. I don't think I will buy this again though as it does seem to do much for what it costs.
