Advantages: smells gorgeous ( in my opinion ), revives hair, results last ages

I am cursed with very dry hair which is made particulary bad by the face that it is curly. Dry curly hair equals frizz!!! Because of this, I was very keen to try H'suan Wen Hua hair moisturiser from Lush - my hair most certainly needed some moisturising!

H'suan Wen Hua comes in a black tub containing 225g of the product. The name is written in white writing along with someinformation about the product. Lush hail this the 'God of Hair ' and I have to say I agree.

Before you buy this product I highly reccomend that you smell it, this is not a product I would suggest purchasing online because the scent is very very strong and its something you will either love or hate.

Personally I love spicy scents, especially cinnamon, so this really is the product for me. Upon opening the lid you are hit with warm spicy fragrance which is quite powerful but not overwhelming.

The product is thick and very creamy, it forms a very thick rim around the edge of the pot similar to the thick rim around a thick creamy yogurt - I give the tub a good shake to mix it all back together before applying.

H'suan Wen Hua should be applied generously to dry hair and then left for 20 minutes to work its magic. I found that the thickness of the product meant that it did not drip as my conditioners to when I leave them in, so there was no mess.

After 20 minutes wash the moisuriser out of your hair. Lush then say to use your conditioner as normal, however I do not think this is always necessary. The first time I used the product my hair was very dry pre-application, however the second time my hair had become less dry and frizzy ( as a result of H'suan Wen Hua I hope! ) and after applying the product my hair already felt very soft so I decided not to use any conditioner.

The scent from the moisturiser really lingers on the hair for a long time, even if you do use a scented conditioner, it will still be the moisturiser rather than the conditioner that you can smell in my experience.

At £7.10 per tub this does not come cheap, especially for someone like me who has very long hair. I managed to get on really great use and a second reasonable use out of the tub. Someone with shorter hair may find it more cost effective as they could perhaps get 3 or 4 good uses out of it.

As H'suan Wen Hua comes in one of the black tubs,it can be used towards the Lush face mask offer - collect 5 tubs, wash them and return them to your local store for recycling and they will reward you with a free face mask of your choice, the face masks are worth around £6, so its a good deal!

I always save my black pots and I give them a good wash out to remove all product before returning it, however with the pot from H'suan Wen Hua, no matter how hard I tried the scent just will not leave the pot - it really is very strong!!!!

This is a product which I plan to continue using, although I dont htink I will be able to use it regularly considering the price. It does work wonders though and it deserves to be called 'God of Hair' because my hair is now sort and shiney and it is a good week or twpo before it even begins to frizz up again after I have applied this.

Summary: a great treat for hair in need of some tlc
