... works well: gentle enough not to cause major fizz and frizz, but washes the hair well. I would not use it without conditioner, as my hair is rather fine, wavy and rarely cut and thus gets into terrible tangles - but that applies to pretty much any shampoo out there. At almost 4 GBP per 100ml it's a very expensive shampoo and in the final count, not worth it at all, at least for me. I would rather spend the money on one of Lush's more expensive bath bars and use a standard High Street brand like Tresemme or Dove....more

I've been using big named brands of shampoo on my hair since I started growing it. You name it, i've used it! Like most women, I tend to get a little bored of the shampoo I am using and like to change every couple of months to something new and hopefully better. I had heard alot of good things about the 'Lush' products, ranging from the soaps, to the body lotions. I had always walked past the shop in town, taking a nice wiff of the fruity smells that linger outside the door, but I have never gone in as it's always been mega busy, and i'm not one for busy places! I decided to give some Lush products a try and so I purchased this Shampoo, along ...  Read the complete review

I am a huge fan of 'Jumping Juniper' a Lush shampoo which is a solid bar of shampoo but as with most things, my hair grows tired of using the same thing and I need to change it. So with any excuse to go into Lush, I find myself back at Victoria looking over excitedly at the huge display of new Lush products when I see ‘I Love Juicy’. As I have mentioned before, the problem with my hair is that whilst it is lovely and blonde there is a lot of it and I tend to have greasy looking hair at the roots which means I need to wash it every other day to keep it looking beautiful but with all the washing of my hair it often leaves me with a dry scalp and I am sure that ...  Read the complete review

The Company Lush specialise in fresh handmade cosmetics and try to use only natural ingredients in their products. They also try to use as little packaging as possible and ensure that any packaging they do use is recyclable. Overall a very ethical company. You can purchase directly from a store, online, by phone or by fax. When purchasing in a shop you will obviously have the advantage or seeing and smelling the products before you purchase. You will also have the advantage of having the sales assitants knowledge at your disposal. I have always found Lush staff to be incredibly helpful and very clued up on all of the products. By buying instore you ...  Read the complete review

I bought Big to try first from the Lush shampoo range but at the time I decided to try this next, as I like the idea of all the fruit it contains (I will get to that shortly) and I was captivated by the smell of it. I bought a 250g bottle but they do come in 100g bottles that are ideal for holidays or just if you don't want to commit to using a new shampoo you are not completely sure of. 100g bottles cost £3.75. 250g bottles come in at £7.50 and the large bottle of 500g comes in at £11.95. As you can tell the more you buy the cheaper it works out, like most things. (The prices of the other liquid shampoos offered by Lush have similar prices but are all priced ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Lush I Love Juicy Shampoo: Juicy Enough?? (759 words)

My mum brought me and my younger sister up on using good hair products: my gran used to say that good clean hair is a must and that it is a girls crowning glory. As a result I have always tended to use more expensive hair products on my very thick wavy hair. I had heard an awful lot about Lush and its various hair and body care products, I had been bought some of the soaps for Christmas and was really impressed by them and the fact that they are environmentally friendly. and believe in using the freshest produce to make their products they are all hand made and not tested on animals. I particularly like the strawberries and cream soap.!! When the ...  Read the complete review
