Lush Karma Komba
Advantages: Lovely smell, leaves your hair soft and sleek.
Disadvantages: Leaves scalp a little dry.
I'm a huge fan of Lush's dry shampoo range, and while I'm tied to my beloved Soak n' Float, there's a lot to admire about this one as well. This is my girlfriend's shampoo of choice, and it's one that I've used on the various occasions that I've forgotten/lost/dropped/mislaid my own.
Unlike the aforementioned Soak n' Float, this one impresses instantly - it's got a lovely soft, faintly fruity smell to it - nothing too heavy, and with a salty edge to it that gives a little sharpness to the aroma. It's a nice balance - not sickly sweet, nor medicinal, but definitely welcoming and pleasant. The green hue of the bar adds to this impression; all in all it's got plenty of positive natural vibes coming out of it.
So what sort of job does it do on your hair? I find it leaves your scalp a little drier than my preferred variety, but it also gives your hair more of a sleek, cared-for sheen to it. I'm not sure I get the full benefit, being very short-haired (a euphemism here for "balding"!), but if you've got long hair this is a great one for de-tangling, and giving you smooth, soft, malleable locks.
So - it's not exactly what I need, but I can see why plenty of people would love it - it does great things to your hair, it smells lovely, and has all the practical benefits of every Lush bar - it lasts ages and works out fairly cheap. Good karma indeed.
