Advantages: Really works, great value for money

Disadvantages: Zero

Having been a fan of dyeing, bleaching, henna-ing and generally ravaging my poor hair over the years, I felt it was about time I started looking after it. So on my weekly trip to Lush, I found this little lovely, and thought it looked like just the thing I needed...

Lush is a company created by a lovely man called Mark Constantine, the man responsible for many Body Shop products, and also a herbal trichologist (meaning he makes lovely haircare out of natural products, including essential oils and many other lovelies). So who can you trust more than this haircare expert?? Evidently noone, as Lush procuts are the only ones that have improved the strength, shine and overall condition and appearance of my locks.

Retread is marketed as a 'triple strength conditioner', and it really does live up to this. With gorgeous natural ingredients such as natural yoghurt for softness and condition, olive oil for strength, agar agar gel to soften and add shine, and good old jojoba oil which is an all round miracle for any hair type, this little bad boy definitely makes a significant difference to frazzled hair when used once or twice weekly along with your normal conditioner.

Retread is excellent when used with Lush Rehab shampoo, which contains a few of the same ingredients, as well as pineapple papaya and kiwi to help get rid of any nasty oils and shine up your locks real good.

Retread is a mega bargain at £8.07, this may seem a bit steep, but you only need a small bit to cover your whole head and deeply condition it. I have very thick, just past shoulder length hair, and one tub of Retread lasts me generally 4 months if I use it once or twice a week. I would recommend leaving it on for around 10 minutes aswell for an even more profound effect.

So get down to Lush and grab a couple of pots of this lovely smoothing creamy conditioner, that really works!!

Summary: Your hair will love you if you slather it in this melony medley!
