Lush Shampoo Bar Tin......


Lush is a company I have been buying products from for a couple of years now and it has so many products that I love to use. The good thing about Lush is you know that they are a company committed to making the best choices in what ingredients to use as they try to use as little chemicals in their products as possible and are very ethical in their management of the business.

This Lush Shampoo tin is a relatively new addition to the vast range of products sold at Lush and is really only intended for use with the round Lush Shampoo Bars, of which there are eleven different varieties to choose from. The tin is a very handy product that I would say is a must when using the shampoo bars otherwise the shampoo bar gets all gooey and slightly messy before it is used again.

The shampoo tin is round in appearance (as are the shampoo bars) and a good size. The lid is pull off and the tin is made of some kind of light weight high shine silver metal. The word Lush is embossed on the lid of the tin and it looks rather nice sat on my bathroom shelf.

The Shampoo bar tin comes free from Lush if you buy two shampoo bars at the same time, which is nice to get a free gift and one so handy for the product you have bought. However you can buy it on its own for the price of £2.69p.

I would say the tin in use is fairly good. Unfortunately a brand new Shampoo bar just about squeezes inside the tin meaning on next use it is a little bit of a struggle to get the bar out of the tin. Because the shampoo bar goes into the tin relatively damp it also will stick to the bottom of the tin (better than the side of the bath though) and this can also be difficult to prise the shampoo away from the tin.

All in all though I would say it is a good product that makes taking your shampoo bar away for the weekend far better than if you didn't have the tin. It also saves a mess on the side of the bath because if you were not to use the tin it would stick to the bath and melt on causing more cleaning and I already have enough!

Also I do love a little tin of any shape or size and even if people want to buy one without using it for shampoo this is a great idea too as I have one which I use for just small pieces of jewellery and this is a great little tin used for that too!

All in all I think for the price that is charged (or indeed getting it free with 2 shampoo bars) means you are getting a nice little item. It is very handy and looks rather smart. I think a four star rating is in order for this Shampoo Bar Tin and a recommendation.
