Since i can remember I have suffered from occasional flaky scalp outbreaks. I have used most of the supermarket dandruff shampoos which are really not effective. The only product that used to sort out the problem temporarily was TGel; however that no longer works on me so not only so do I have Flaky scalp Syndrome I also have stinky hair syndrome as well!

I'm lucky enough to have an original Iron bath in my house so I love a trip to Lush to buy up their amazing bath bombs so i can soak for hours in luxury! It was during a trip last summer that i noticed the shampoo bars; always skeptical about such items (even from Lush) I thought this would dry my hair out no end & add to the flaky scalp problem. The very helpful assistant took me through the benefits of the soak & float shampoo bar and i thought at just under £4 I'll give it a bash.

This shampoo bar stinks to high heaven - however it is really effective and the smell doesn't linger on your hair. You do also get used to the smell so it no longer bothers me. It also lasts for ages and is brilliant for taking away on holidays etc as it takes up no room. I would suggest though buying a soap box either from Lush or somewhere else just so the smell doesn't penetrate your clothes etc!

Soak & Float is also very easy to use, it lathers up well and aside from dealing with flakes also cleans your hair well & leaves it nice & shiny.

I've been using Soak & Float for over a year now and i rarely get any flaky outbreak. Marvelous!
