Lush Squeaky Green Shampoo Bar

After falling a bit in love with Lush recently I indulged myself in some divine hair care an skin care products, with the Squeaky Green Shampoo Bar being one of them.

When the very helpful sale assistant was walking me around the store and telling me lots about lots of different products I could not quite believe the Shampoo in a Bar scenario and without much temptation wanted to buy one. After discussing with said helpful assistant (who must have picked up the fact that I was intent on spending a small fortune in there) my hair type and the recent noticeable build up of silicone in my hair I opted, on her advice, for the Squeaky Green bar. This was an astounding £4.53 for a 55g bar, but would supposedly last the same amount of washes as three bottles of shampoo.

I was very keen to try this, so pretty much as soon as I got home I hopped into the shower to try it, amongst my other new Lush products of course. Kind lady in the shop had told me not to expect a one wash miracle and that I probably would not notice improvement straight away, but she was wrong, because I did. My hair really did feel very clean, squeaky clean in fact, like it had been stripped of all the crap I had previously subjected it too.

The smell of tea tree, peppermint and rosemary is amazing. They blend fantastically well together and the scent lingers in my hair lightly for the rest of the day.

Having used this bar 20 or more times now I am barely noticing it shrink, so in my eyes it is great value for money. Literature on the product suggests up to 80 uses from one bar and I really would not be surprised it my bar lasts that long.

This is a fab product and I can not wait to try other shampoo bars. On the whole my hair feels much healthier than before I started using this product.

Summary: I can not wait to try some of the other shampoo bars...
