Despite what Lush say about this product, if you have dry, brittle hair and want something to make it softer then dont use this!

I was swayed by the marketing after becoming bored of my current liquid shampoo and wanted to dry something different, I was going through a phase at the time of wanting everything in my bathroom to be produced by Lush so Trichomania it had to be!

When making my purchase I did wonder how I was meant to store the bar as they come wrapped in greaseproof paper as the soaps and butter bars do but the promise of soft smooth hair and the gorgeous coconut frangrance convinced me all would be worth it.

How wrong I was! this shampoo bar is no better than using soap on your hair, in fact you would probably be better off using soap, the addition of the softening coconut and essential oils do little to counteract the drying effects of the vegetable soap base. I found the shampoo difficult to wash out of my hair and left me with awful tangles and very squeaky feeling hair too when I came to dry and style it later on.

This bar may be suitable for people with greasy fine hair but for everyone else I would steer clear, especially people with thick dry hair like me, which is who this is aimed at!

I usually adore Lush but they made a rather large fuax pas with this one I think, better luck next time, I'll be sticking to my usual liquid shampoos from Boots
