Advantages: Beautiful smell and soft clean hair.

Disadvantages: Quite expensive

Trichomania is a solid shampoo packed with coconut. Coconut is a very moisturising ingredient, so this product is meant to be a moisturising shampoo.

It works extremely well, however, I would not say that it is in any way overly moisturising. I bought a huge chunk and used it for weeks on my normal to oily hair without any adverse effects. (Yes, I bought it just for the scent, it smells delicious... more on that later)

How to use
Many people are wary of using a shampoo that comes in solid form. However, it's the easiest thing in the world. Simply wet the hair and rub the shampoo bar arouns your head a few times - it will lather with the wet hair easily - the place the bar somewhere dry and use the lather in your hair to wash as normal.

Effects
It made my hair unbelievably soft and shiny. You really feel like you are using something completely nourishing and wonderful when you use it. My hair was easily manageable and very smooth. However, there were times when I would change to a normal shampoo just to give my hair a lift. This one seems very gentle and sometimes your hair needs something a little tougher.

My absolute favourite thing about Trichomania is the smell. It smells like Bounty bars and fresh coconut and paradise and holidays all rolled into one. After using this, no matter what conditioner you use on your hair, it will smell of coconut until your next wash.

I would recommend this for people who have normal to dry hair, sensitive scalps or just love the smell of coconut!

Summary: Smells delicious, works well, fun to use.
