I used to buy this all the time from Lush, until I got bored of it! I used to pay around £3-ish for a 100g block of this, however Lush prices seem to always be increasing these days. The shampoo is white in colour and it comes in block form. If you don't want to commit yourself to a 100g block you can always ask the lovely ... Read the complete review

In my quest to try every product that Lush make, I chose a block of Trichomania shampoo last time I was in the store. Trichomania (which means 'the love of hair') is a coconut shampoo designed to soften dry hair. It was actually discontinued last year, but after an outcry from numerous customers Lush brought it back. ***What ... Read the complete review

Lush is the type of store that you smell before you see. It makes fun and colourful beauty products that solve just about every beauty dilemma that you can think of. With their snazzy designs, witty names and natural ingredients, Lush stands out as being a little bit different from their competitors. Their products are never tested on ... I'd never heard of a bar of shampoo and i'll admit I was fairly sceptical. I did not see how you could get a lot of lather but upon reading reviews for it I decided to give it a go and bought the Trichomania bar. This was mainly because I didn't like the smell of the others and i'm quite a big fan of coconut scented things. ... Read the complete review

This Lush solid shampoo has the amazing scent of coconut, when i walked in to the shop, it was the first thing I smelt and straight away I bought it. It look slightly like a piece of coconut smelling white cheese (odd, i know!) and when you hold it it feels hard like a piece of soap, this didn't put me off so I tried it about ... Having really long hair end up with loads liquid shampoo big bottles around that simply occupy the space and it all gets consumed really quick. I loved the idea of solid shampoo because it can be stored in blocks and consumes less packaging and therefore reducing unnecessary waste, plus I keep forgetting to bring the empty shampoo bottle ... To start off this review it is necessary to say that I am usually very wary of any product meant to 'moisturise' either my hair or skin - mostly because I feel that both already have FAR too much moisture as it is! But, since I trust the Lush sales assistant and LOVE the scent of coconut, I gave this shampoo a go. Trichomania ... Read the complete review

This is one of Lush's famous solid shampoo bars, it can be bought in any amount you wish for but 100g is the norm and is cut off a huge truckle of the stuff, if you have ever been in one of the shops you will know what I mean, they are like the soaps in that respect. The shampoo bars come in nothing more than a slighlty waxed ... Read the complete review

Description: Solid Shampoo Bar (Shampoo only, none of this 2-in-1 nonsense), heavy on the coconut, and intended to tame wild/dry hair. It comes in chunks rather than shaped cakes like some of the other LUSH Shampoo bars, and sells on the website for £4.50 per chunk. In the shops, you can choose a chunk of whatever size you like, ... Trichomania is a solid shampoo packed with coconut. Coconut is a very moisturising ingredient, so this product is meant to be a moisturising shampoo. It works extremely well, however, I would not say that it is in any way overly moisturising. I bought a huge chunk and used it for weeks on my normal to oily hair without any ... First, this bar is nothing to do with an STD, as I have heard people link it to that! It's named after TRICHOLOGY, the study of hair. The mania bit comes from someone who loves (or is MANIC) about their hair. It is also a double meaning, a shampoo for big hair that needs some controlling. So, for crazy/manic hair! Right. I ... I wanted to try this solid shampoo as I wanted to get something for my holiday and thought that if I got a solid shampoo, it would be much more compact and I wouldn't have to worry about it leaking in my luggage. I've got quite dry hair due to bleaching so I always go for the coconut shampoos as I find them the most ... Read the complete review

I am a great fan of Lush products and have been buying them for years. I like their green policies and that they don't test on animals in any way. This solid shampoo bar fits right in with their green policies - Lush make solid shampoos as they do not need any form of packaging - no plastic bottles filling up ... Read the complete review

I knew Trichomania probably wasn't going to work for me when I bought it but it smells so great I couldn't resist. I bought a huge chunk which I can't even use on my hair very often- my hair tends to become oily quickly and this shampoo is much to moisturising for me. It makes my hair feel very soft and smell fantastic (a sweet, milky ... Read the complete review

I love Lush's Trichomania. I'm a fan of coconut smelling things anyway and I have been using shampoo that smells of coconut on my hair for a long time but this is my favourite. Lush have developed a formula for giving you a shampoo that works really well and lasts ages (depending on your hair length). Unlike the bath bombs and ... Read the complete review

Despite what Lush say about this product, if you have dry, brittle hair and want something to make it softer then dont use this!
