When browsing round my local Lush shop with nothing in mind to buy and picking up some shampoo to try I opted to buy a conditioner. The one thing I never knew until this particular visit was that Lush don't sell matching shampoos and conditioners and it's down to yourself to pick a regime that works which is made a lot easier by the fabulous and knowledgeable staff. So after a little chat about my hair and it's needs I picked up a bottle of this to try! My Hair... Difficult and rebellious much like its owner! I have dyed black shoulder length hair. Straight, flat hair from root that goes greasy and lank really quickly and then from mid length to the ... Read the complete review

As I start to write this, I have the veganese conditioner on my hair, which is all piled up whilst I let it soak in. I always leave conditioners on much longer than it says on the bottle because I like to let the stuff sink in. I'm not sure about the science of this but I have really fine hair which has suffered over the years. I am also very particular about how I treat my hair (having a variant of lupus - that has made me lose some of it in the past). I like not to have to wash (or fiddle with it) too much. I like it to have a bit of volume and be a bit shiny and easy to brush. Price and Appearance --------------------------- I ... Read the complete review

Veganese was one of the first ever Lush conditioners I have tried. I love trying hair care products to see what may really suit me. Fortunately for me, most products will get on with my hair type with no problems at all, so I never really find something that I have to throw away because my hair cannot cope! As if you couldn't guess from the name, Veganese is Lush's vegan conditioner, replacing lanolin (from sheep wool) with Japanese seaweed gel. So far so good, but then Lush declares it suitable for all hair types, leading to a bit of a glitch in Veganese's system. Normal to oily and fine hair will be given unbelievable softness, shine, and body. ... Read the complete review

The company Lush make fresh body and haircare products from natural ingredients. Their products are not tested on animals. The product Lush Veganese conditioner is obviously a vegan conditioner. It comes in a choice of three different sizes - 100g for £2.75, 250g for £5.50 or 500g for £9.25. Veganese conditioner is a light conditioner, suitable for all hair types. It is lemon frangranced The conditioner is a creamy beige colour and is a smooth consistency - not too thick and not too runny that it's not manageable. The packaging Veganese conditioner comes in a clear plastic bottle with a flip top lid for ease of use. It has a ... Read the complete review

I sent my other half off with a list of what I wanted and the money to visit my favourite store (this is nothing unusual, it makes sense as he works nearby) Lush! Not a long list this time just another bottle of I Love Juicy and Veganese conditioner, just a medium size bottle. I decided to try out Veganese as the last conditioner I bought was Jungle Conditioning Bar from Lush and although I loved it for lots of reasons, when it gets towards the end of the bar it breaks up and isn't that easy to finish so I thought I would try something new. Veganese is one of Lush's liquid conditioners, like any regular conditioner made by any company but there are ... Read the complete review
