Advantages: Conditions well, gives great shine and makes hair feel extra soft

Disadvantages: Smells a bit sickly

The company
Lush make fresh body and haircare products from natural ingredients. Their products are not tested on animals.

The product
Lush Veganese conditioner is obviously a vegan conditioner. It comes in a choice of three different sizes - 100g for £2.75, 250g for £5.50 or 500g for £9.25. Veganese conditioner is a light conditioner, suitable for all hair types. It is lemon frangranced
The conditioner is a creamy beige colour and is a smooth consistency - not too thick and not too runny that it's not manageable.

The packaging
Veganese conditioner comes in a clear plastic bottle with a flip top lid for ease of use. It has a black label which lists the ingredients and as with most Lush products it also has a yellow sticker which tells you who made your particular product, the date it was made and the date it should be used by. The product lasts for around 14 months from the date it was made.

Ingredients
Lavendar Flower Infusion, Rosemary Infusion, Agar Infusion, Cetearyl Alcohol, Propylene Gycol, Cetearyl Alcohol & Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, Cetrimonium Bromide, Lemon Oil, Benzoin Resinoid, Fresh Lemon Juice, Citral, Limonene and Perfume.

Using the Product
I have very fine, dry, frizzy hair and have tried countless shampoo's and conditioners, many of which have helped but not greatly. I use Lush skincare regularly and am a huge fan, so thought I'd give something natural a go on my hair to see if it would make a difference, although I was sceptical. The first time I used this product I have to admit I wasn't impressed with the smell. It is a bit sickly and I was expecting a lemon scent
which I didn't get. I used an average amount of conditioner and used it from roots to tips of my hair. I didn't leave it on a great length of time, maybe 1-2 minutes and then rinsed it well. My hair didn't feel as soft as it did with other conditioners. After blow drying and straightening my hair it was very soft, much softer than with any other conditioner and was extremely shiny. I continued to use the product for 3-4 weeks, but didn't use as much. My hair became super soft and silky all the time. It's very shiney and is much more manageable and has a lot less frizz. I have now been using Veganese for around six months and I don't think I'll ever use a different conditioner again. It is superb value for money. Although the bottles are smaller and more expensive than some shampoo's, it is on a par or even slightly cheaper than most of the professional ones, plus the bottle
will last for ages as you only need a very small amount.

Summary: A fantastic conditioner, well worth the money - I will probably never use another conditioner again

I have a similar hair type to you, so I think I'll give this a go. Thanks! Is it available in most boots/superdrug type stores?
