Nice Gel, but not enough of it! (Lynx Hair Gel)

I've always found the cheaper hair gel to work better for me, but a few months ago, I decided I would try some more expensive hair styling products.

I bought some Brylcreem hair wax, but this was no good whatsoever, don't get me wrong it had a really nice smell, but it was £5 for a small little tub, and it simply would not wash out!

Then I saw the advert for the Lynx hair gel, so I thought why not, i'll give it a try. Its about £3 for an average size tube, much more expensive than the cheap stuff I get, so I was expecting something much better.

The first thing I noticed was the nice smell, which sets it apart from other gels. In fact, it is probably possible to get away with not wearing deodorant if you had this gel in your hair! (But please don't try it!)

After styling my hair the gel didn't take long to set. So really at the moment, all that was setting it apart from the cheaper gels is the nice smell.

The big test was whether the gel would stay in all day and not simply rub out with a touch with your hand, as some gels do. And it passed this test well, it didn't how much the hair was touched the gel wouldn't come out very easily at all and my hair kept its style, which is a major advantage for this gel. But, the only real way to get the gel out is to wash your hair afterwards, which really isn't much of a bother if you have a shower at the end of the day!

The only disadvantage I could find of this product, is that tube is kinda small, and doesn't last very long at all compared to some other gels, but if you've got £3 to spend each time you want gel, then I recommend this one to you, as for me, i'm sticking with my cheap gel for the meanwhile!
