None of this would be so bad if the product actually did the job it was supposed to do: Namely, "Smooth out the frizzies whilst providing the hair with a continous protective coating" (plus a hundred and one other claims that also failed to deliver). It has the look and consistancy of snot. It smells like something car mechanics clean their hands with. It isn't, in other words, something I would consider a luxury hair care product. Yet strangely, this is how the Michaeljohn "Salon Formula" leave-in conditioner is packaged. All shiny silver bottle and pump action, sleek and stylish - suggesting the product inside will do the same for your hair.
