This is a strong contender for best smelling shampoo ever! It's great to use just because of the fresh and invigorating smell - especially in the mornings. As for its effect on the hair, well it seems fine, if not especially remarkable in any way. It cleans well and rinses easily and leaves hair very fresh-feeling. I have pretty fragile hair and haven't noticed any problems at all in using this. It's not what I use all the time but for those bleary mornings it certainly makes me feel better about getting out of bed
