Advantages: leaves hair vibrant, soft & shiny, smells great, doesn't leave residue, cheaper than other brands.

When washing my hair I always try to use a conditioner, as I find that using a conditioner leaves my hair in much better condition that it would do when using the shampoo alone. I normally use wash out conditioner but occasionally use the Aussie leave in conditioner which leaves my hair feeling soft and smelling great. I recently purchased some new shampoo and as this was in offer in Boots along with the conditioner I thought I may as well try them both together to see how good the products were.

The conditioner I purchased is specifically for people with blonde of highlighted hair and is made by a company called naked. The conditioner contains natural extracts of gentle Camomile, Zesty Lemon, Cassia and moisturising sunflower oil. No harsh chemicals or detergents are used in Naked products and only gentle plant based cleaning ingredients are used in their products so blonde hair shimmers and looks shiny. It's recommended to us the shampoo in this range before using the conditioner as these 2 products together will give fantastic results rather than just one of the products being used. When used along with the shampoo the conditioner claims to subtly lighten blonde of highlighted hair making it look brighter and more vibrant. The conditioner comes in a beige coloured tube which stands on its lid. On the front of the tube it states what the product is and what type of hair it's for (in this case blonde or highlighted hair). I loved the smell of the shampoo in this range and it gave good results so I was expecting even better results when using the conditioner after shampooing my hair.

You can purchase this from Boots for £3.98, how-ever I purchased this along with the Conditioner when it was on offer a few days ago, which cost me £6.00 for both the shampoo & conditioner.
Using the Product

I shampooed my hair twice with the shampoo on this range as suggested. I then squeezed out as much excess water from my hair as I could and flipped open the lid and squeezed the tube to dispense some of the conditioner onto my hand. The conditioner was white in colour and was quite thick a bit like a lotion or cream. I massage the conditioner into my hair for a minute or two and then used a wide toothed comb through it to help with any knots or tangles that may appear when drying my hair later. The shampoo smelt very pleasant and was a refreshing smell. I can't really describe the smell as I can't put my finger on what it actually smells like. After combing the conditioner through my hair I then rinsed it out. I wrapped my hair in a towel to dry a little before styling it as normal. As I dried my hair I could smell the scent of the conditioner which was nice and it made my hair feel fresh and really clean. After drying my hair I looked in the mirror at the results. My hair looked so bright and vibrant and the blonde looked brighter than it had done before. My hair felt really smooth and soft and it looked shiny and in really good condition. I was very impressed with the results of the product and have to admit that the results were much better than what I thought they were going to be.

Until I purchased the shampoo and the conditioner I hadn't heard of this company, how-ever I am so glad that I decided to give their products ago as I am really impressed with the results of this product. When using the shampoo and conditioner together my hair comes out looking brighter and healthier and it feels so clean and fresh. The smell of the product doesn't stay in my hair for more than a day, how-ever even after a day my hair colour looked vibrant and clean. I have used many hair products before including some expensive brands but this is currently my favourite I have tried so far. The conditioner didn't leave any residue in my hair and didn't irritate my scalp or make it itchy. In terms of value I think the conditioner is very reasonable value compared to other well-known brands such as John Frieda which I find very expensive for what they are. I have actually used the John Frieda Go Blonder shampoo and conditioner before and I personally think that this naked product is much better than the one's in the John Frieda range. I will definitely be buying the shampoo and the conditioner again and I highly recommend it to other blondes.
