Disadvantages: The smell!

I came across the 'Naked bodycare' range in Boots. I haven't seen them elsewhere so I'm not sure if Boots is the only place you can buy them. These were on promotion (2 for £6, ordinarily £3.91), so I bought shampoo (see separate review) and conditioner from the Naked Volume range. I guess like most people I'm also concerned about the number of chemicals that are in the cosmetics and shampoos we use, so I thought I'd try them. The products claim to be 97% natural and cater for all hair types.

The conditioner comes in a grey coloured tube, 250ml in size. The tube is not see-through like the shampoo bottle. Like the shampoo, the conditioner according to the packaging does not contain sodium lauryl sulphate, parabens and petrochemicals. the information at the back of the conditioner is written in a similar lively style to the shampoo bottle, which I really liked, as it gave it the personal touch and made it seem like the company are run by a small group of fun people. The conditioners natural ingredients include grape, passion flower and pineapple which act to smooth down the hairs surface. It also contains corn extract which are 'a bit like tiny little personal trainers for hair'. The range of products is not tested on animals as the company 'doesn't believe in testing on Bambie, Lassie or Skippy'.

The conditioner itself is a white coloured cream, which works in much the same way as other conditioners. To use you massage into hair, leave for a minute before rinsing out. This product, like the shampoo, has a medicated smell, though not as strong as the shampoo, which is something I really didn't like. As a conditioner it worked well. My hair was free from tangles and felt soft and velvety. It also does as it says on the tube and adds volume to your locks. However, I'm not sure whether I'd buy from this range again, unless they did something to improve the smell!!

Summary: Good for volume and hair feels silky smooth. Not so sure about the smell!
