I take extra good care of my tresses. I've used many serums and shine products, but they havent been much better than my hairs own natural shine. I actually first used this about 5 years ago (nicked some off my sister!) and I even thought then that it was fantastic. My friends would always ask me what I had done to make my hair look so healthy. Somewhere down the line I lost track of the product (my sister moved out!), and as I didnt know where it was from, wasn't able to get hold of any. Anyway I stummbled across it at a local Boots store (natural collection) and even though someone had used some (there was serum all over the bottle), I didnt hesitate to buy it, as it was the only one left, and I could no longer wait to use it again. The result, well im always getting asked what I use on my hair, No tangles .'. my hair hardly breaks anymore, any previous spilt ends are no longer noticable, a high watt shine and smooth, silky, great smelling hair (even after a day of running on and off the tube, need i start on the effects on hair from the environment up London!) It comes in a 75ml pump bottle, one pump disperses the right amont normally required. The serum itself is a translusant pale Lilac, and the smell of the serum is sweet and fresh (the smell is another major reason why I love this product). At around £3.50, this is quite cheap compared to the bigger name serums, which aren't half as good. The serum is not sticky at all, and quite thin so you get more use out of it. It also has 'Japonica extract' in it which helps split ends (as much as you possibly can help split ends, apart from chopping them off). It's not just a shine enhancing serum, but a moisturising treatment that conditions. If you try this product (and use it appropriately), I can assure you that, chances are you'll be as hooked as i am.
The best thing about boots is surprisingly not the over-marked prices they charge for their products, but Japonica. It comes in a small 75 ml pump bottle and it costs a whopping £3:50ish but I guarantee it's the best hair product you will ever own. Although the price appears somewhat expensive, the product is only required in small amounts, and well the effect these few drops has on your hair is amazing. Even individuals with short hair can benefit from this product. It smells nice, it's colour isn't too nasty (okay so it's more on the pinky side of the pinky purple) but it's good stuff. Split ends will temporarily vanish under it's power and your hair will feel so darn smooth, so rush down to boots and get ya self some.
