“ Brand: Neutrogena / Type: Hair Shampoo / Working for: curly hair „
I've always come back to Neutrogena shampoos after infidelities to other brands. You don't need to have permed/treated hair to use this shampoo, but the moisturising agents in it allows you to really clean your hair of all build up while not stripping it dry and being too aggressive. This is the best no nonsense shampoo I know, without all this coloring, pearlising and unecessary additives you can find in other shampoos. I just contains a very mild detergent. The smell is very discreet too. It might be more expensive than other shmpoos at around £5.00 a bottle but think about all the dammage it doesn't do to your hair.
Having naturally curly hair which is prone to dryness, I again searched the shelves of my local haircare centre and found myself face to face with this Neutragena shampoo. Knowing that my own bathroom cabinet at home was groaning under the weight of all the differenc shampoos that had promised to deal with the specific problems of curly hair, it was with a heavy heart that I plucked this one from the shelf. With it's promise to gently clean whilst retaining curls on permed hair, I hoped that it just might do the job on natural curls. This shampoo ACTUALLY DOES WHAT IS PROMISED. After using many other 'curly' hair products this has been, by far, the best. My hair (which is past my sholders and really curly) was soft and shiney and stayed that way until the next wash. At least 10 people commented on how good my hair looked and I felt really great. My only tip is that I do shampoo it well into my scalp for at least 5 minutes and I do think that this makes a huge difference. (A friend recommended this to me). Definately worth the couple of pounds that it cost. Dede
